Hi everyone I'm claiming NSD No 4! I didn't think possible as Dad is visiting and insists on paying for everything!

I have an appointment for my foot next Friday but ironically it feels a lot better. I'll be back to break dancing in no time :p

Sixth Anniversary Combo Breaker Debt-free and Proud!
Gonna claim today as NSD 7

All i've spent is 40p on the Sun newspaper and that was to get the Morrisons £5 off meat voucher, so the savings will cover the cost of the paper :) They seem to be doing these £5 off food vouchers regularly at the moment in the Sun, so keep an eye out!

This weeks gone really well, spending-wise. Its shown me that I can live off whats in the kitchen cupboards for longer than i thought!
    Starting 2016 debt-free :D

NSD #3 here. At home all day for A level results, trying to stay calm while my son decided what to do after missing his first choice uni due to one poor mark. Hopefully sorted now!

I'm pleased for you that it feels better.Be careful though. You don't want to do too much, and find yourself back at square one.

It is amazing just to make do with what you have in.I'm the kind of person who has a hard time not following recipes to the letter,so if a recipe called for say brown sugar, and i didn't have any in,I would go and buy it.But no more! ;)
I have quite a lot of loose tea,but prefer teabags.I found that making a cuppa with loose tea wasn't strong enough.I usually make just a cup,as I'm on my own.Solution?Use a smaller cup. :o
I just can't afford to waste anything, now that my salary is going to decrease soon. It's important for me to feel as 'prepared' as possible.
  • The front page has been updated.

We haven't captured a cool total of 155 nsds!!!

There'll be an update to follow later on.

I know it's a bit early, but does anyone have any ideas for a theme for September?I have visitors here from the 21st to the 6th of September, and will be around a lot less,so want to sort it out before next Thursday.

    Thanks.
  • That should be,we have captured....:o

Organised Marmite! Thanks for the update

All that I think of when you say September is the Earth, Wind & Fire song :)

Last day at work today then 10 whole days off....much needed. Of course I've just had to cram an extra 10 days worth of work into this week so I may as well have slept here. Got home at 10.30pm last night to get back into work at 7.30am...*just get through the day*

Today should be number 8 as no reason to spend and definitely will be too tired to bother doing anything after work.
