What can I do about neighbours smoking cannabis ?

Thank you for the people who posted back helpful replies. I do appreciate it. Please don't find it funny this is a problem for me and I was just asking if anyone knew what I could do.
I also don't feel the police won't help me. I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall.
I wish I could afford to move, trust me! Would have done so along time ago

You could also try reporting it to social services.

The lad is 16, what do you think social services can do?

I don't think there is much you can do - perhaps get some double glazing?

Years ago, this would have been taken seriously, but the police don't see it as a crime now, so, it may be a case of making the best of it until you can move.

I hate the smell of cannabis.

Thankfully, most people around here hotbox their houses so no one has to suffer the scent, although there is one family who will brazenly sit out on their front step puffing away.

I ignored it until I was doing garden work one day and there was a good 2-3 people an hour knocking on their door, looking around nervously, before being let in and let out 3 minutes later.

You can smoke whatever you want, I couldn't care less, in your own house, but it's really a different situation when someone is turning their house into a dealer den.

Called 101 and the plod were round in about half an hour, knock knock, no answer, and they left. Haven't seen them having 'visitors' again though so I'm guessing that close brush with the law was close enough.

Have also called 101 on a couple of blokes who were dealing a little bit more than cannabis. Stood near our road and convoys of cars turning up, items going in and out of car windows, turning our quiet little surbubia into a cocaine drive-thru. Gave reg numbers of all the cars, the fellas disappeared and haven't seen them since.
