I would assume there was a fire next door given the "funny smell", and quickly grab the hose pipe to extinuish it...
I had the same problem up until 6 weeks ago when they moved. I just asked him over the fence if he would mind smoking his spliffs at the end of the garden away from my back door. You haven't got my old neighbour have you???Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I have the same problem from 9am - 11pm the smell floods in!!
I have spoken to the police about it just recently in passing, and they said there is nothing they can do unless they are dealing - they actually knew of my neighbours!
I can`t approach my neighbours as they are aggressive and violent and we don`t talk.DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

If nothing happens after a while following your reports you could try ringing up the reporters on your local newspaper and complain that nothing is happening. They are always looking for good stories and the police won,t like being shown up if it's shown they're not taking action.0

The police might not act on one report from one person but they are more likely to act if several neighbours all make complaints about the stink of weed.
You shouldn't have to put up with the smell - it is horrid and makes you ill.0 -

Why the drama?...The smell does not make you ill..
What would people be saying if it was just cigarette smoke? It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

The smell is horrible though and gets right in your nose, I don't particularly enjoy my neighbours smoking by my window either but you can clearly smell weed from quite far from the actual smoking.0 -

Personally, I think ordinary cigarette smoke smells much worse.0 -

Cigarette smoke and petrol are those weird smells which a lot of people like, do any non druggies like the weed smell? I think I smells like raw garlic.0 -

Really? I don't know a single non-smoker who likes the smell of cigarette smoke, frankly it knocks me sick.0 -
