Piglet to Gazelle - My weight loss journey

First_Trouble wrote: »I'm not going to lie, this weekend I was ready to throw in the towel and take a long break but then I was thinking how far I had come and if I throw in the towel now what was the point. I have done so well and I don't want to go back into the dark pit that was my life. I feel so good about myself, I finally feel strong and sexy which I haven't felt in years. So I compromised and let myself have three days off (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) with no food recorded. I feel better for it and I have devised a new exercise regime which I started last night. I'm feeling more positive about my journey than I have done in a long while.

Weigh in
Weight now stands at 10st 3lbs
A loss of 6.2lbs.
I think some of this has been muscle loss due to not exercising for a week or so and stress.

Great news about your debt clearing
It sounds as if you are taking a sensible approach to things at the moment. Good to hear you sounding so positive
Thanks, it did feel so good to call up the bank and cancel the overdraft. I was surprised at how little resistance the bank gave usually you have to spend 30 minutes explaining why you don't want it.That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Thanks LondonGirl252, the old me would have just given up but I don't want to be the person who never finishes anything. I now have an 8 week exercise programme drafted up for myself using the fitness blender workouts on youtube. I will be earning my rest days that's for sure!!That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!
