Feeling more positive this week. My FIL is still with us and is making very small improvements each day. He is no where near out of the woods yet but I am hoping and praying that he makes some sort of recovery. The only thing they have said is that if he does recover he won't be able to go home but will have to go into a hospice requiring on hand care. My DH is coming home tonight after being at his dads side for the past 10 days so it will be good to see him too.
I have done some exercise and am just keeping up with it. I also have a doctors app on Friday to check my thyroid levels as I really do feel like my meds need to be upped, so fingers crossed the Dr agrees with me.
Our debts are also reducing slowly, but surely so another positive there. Going to start the monthly menu plan for October, which should hopefully see more protein than has been on the table of late, but with keeping our shopping bill down. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

My FIL passed away late Wednesday night so I haven't felt much like healthy eating or exercise over the last few days in all honesty. He was such a wonderful man and I can't quite believe that he has actually gone.
I'm trying to pick myself up and get back into the swing of things today as I know having something else to focus on will help me get through this. It's also probably a good thing that we have already postponed our move up North.
In other news I did see my GP about the some of my thyroid symptoms returning and he sent me for another blood test. I went the same day so just waiting for the results back so I can see what is actually going on. I am also going to take note of how I feel/eat/exercise each day, and take that along with me to my next doc app to see if he can see a trend. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

I am feeling a bit better today, all things considered.
I will also have paid off my overdraft at the end of the month so I am one step closer to being debt free!!
My meal plans for October are also looking better definitely low-carb friendly. I will be trialling Cauliflower rice too. Has anyone given this a go?
Hopefully my husband will like it too would make cooking a little easier. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Arr I am sorry your fil has passed away, esp as it sounds like he has been ill too. Hope you're all ok. Take your time to yourself too as emotionally when something happens it takes its toll (we have nan living with us and it takes its toll sometimes):T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one
