Piglet to Gazelle - My weight loss journey

Cheers, think I'm close to target anyway so may as well finish it off that way and then I won't have to pay anymore anyway so if I don't go its no big deal and I can run in once a month or so just to get weighed without having to pay as long as within target range.
How on earth do you limit yourself to one piece of Lindt?? Lol0 -
I break it off and put packet back in the fridge and sit down in front room to eat, think I would be tempted to eat another piece if I just had it in front of me. Also I eat it really slowly and savour it so I find it has satisfied that sweet craving by the time I have finished it.
I couldn't do this with milk chocolate though I just want more and more
I would really recommend the caramel and sea salt it is very lushThat voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

The only one I've tried is the Chilli and I like it. I normally get a 80 % one in Lidl with orange or just dark.
I've given up with milk chocolate, its a disaster, total disaster lol
I much prefer the dark now. Its been a week since I had any and I am very pleased and amazed I've done that as after Christmas I was having it every day coz I just couldn't get myself off it. I was never a big chocolate person before so not sure what was going on.
Also only had bread once this week, so win win there and well!! After getting back into really bad habits and scoffing at least 2 - 4 slices everyday I've got back off that again as well.
Fingers crossed for tonight if I don't have something off I'll be really disappointed !!0 -
Woo hoo 2.5 lbs off for me last night. 8.5 lbs back to target
Delited as it means I can no longer think I've put a full stone on at my lightest!
How are you getting it ?
I've had my chocolate fix for the week a mini crunchie :rotfl:0 -
Well done Lantanna! :T
I'm doing well can definitely feel a difference in my body this week from all the extra walking. Looking forward to the weekend though could use a bit of a rest, the house needs a good going over so not sure how much rest I will actually get but one can dream eh?
Had a bit of a naughty dinner as was out for drinks last night for a friends birthday and was trying to steer myself away from McD's on the way home. Although I will be having a scone with cream and HM Jam as a little treat today. It was my turn to bake today at work and I want one :cool:That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

The house always needs a good going over doesn't it. I love it when you start to feel a difference for the better. I am definitely not as bloated right now thank goodness.
Hoping to shift another 2 this week, def going to try and get out walking myself this weekend. Clears the head if nothing else.
Oh you have to have the odd treat or you would go insane, have your scone and enjoy it.0 -
Thursday food & exercise
B: Bacon, Egg & roasted tom multi-grain bagel
L: Bolognaise with mixed veg (sugar snap, broccoli, carrots)Cheeky Pot Noodle & half toasted bagel - Had night out and wanted to avoid McD's lesser of two evils
S: Clementine, coffee, lemon&ginger tea, jaffa cake (graze punnet hazelnuts, orange flavoured raisins & 4 dark choc drops), 1 large 250ml glass white wine
E: Walked 15493, miles 5.86, burned 1930
I was quite proud of myself that I managed to still do my walk to liverpool street even though I had had a drink and I usually wouldn't have thought twice about jumping on the tube. I also managed to stick to one glass of wine. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Yes it really does, I feel like I have peeved off the cleaning fairy she never visits my house
I did really enjoy the scone thanks, and by the look of the empty jam jar and almost an empty plate I think my work colleagues enjoyed them too!!
I have to make my diet flexible as I see this as a lifestyle change and I want it to stick. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

The cleaning fairy and me have fallen out big time!
After having wine, haribo, carrot cake and swiss roll on Saturday I am hoping to pull it back in time for Thursday.
Annoyed with myself though, when I'm in rubbish form everything seems to go out the window and I just want to eat.
Going to have to have lots of vegetables this week0 -
I have days like that when I am ravenous and no matter what or how much it just doesn't seem to fade. This is usually around TOTM though so I know why at least.
Was a bit naughty over the weekend in the fact that I forgot to note down what I ate and now I can't remember ahh!! My memory it awful. The only meal I remember is the takeaway I got last night (Chinese)
couple of veg spring rolls, Chicken noodle soup (broth only), sweet and sour chicken & special fried rice. As I wasn't feeling up to cooking. I did rework what I would usually have so I wasn't having huge portions like I would have done before.
And I forgot to weigh in this morning so will have to do that tomorrow instead. So far today isn't going well as I have woken up with the startings of a cold. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!
