  • Thanks Lantanna,

I am feeling more positive today feel like I am more in control and relaxed. The extra walk first thing is really helping with my step count and my general morning perkiness. I have also started going for a little walk at lunchtime too, by making just these small changes I have found that I am meeting my step goal by midday now. More cals burned without really too much extra effort on my part.

Thanks for the tip on the Nakd bars I bought mine from their website through the calender code promotion got a box of 18 for £10 and another for £14 am working through these at the moment but there is always space for a bargain!!

Weight workout this morning and I managed to double all my reps. It makes so much difference when you can see and feel the changes taking effect.

I was quite proud of myself actually my husband was watching TV and I didn't want to wait until his show had finished to do my workout. I felt like my motivation to do it would wear off so I got my mat and weights and did my workout while my husband watched TV and I didn't feel self-conscious. In fact I even got him to try out some of it.

Def taking care of your appearance will give you a little boost! What is your target?
  • My final target is to be around the 8.7-9st mark but am aiming for my mini target of under 11st. Only 6 pounds left to go for this hoping to do that by end of Feb fingers crossed.
I am visiting my mum in Cumbria again at the end of Feb and am expecting a lot of exercise from that week:
    - all day dog walking Mon-Fri
    - 3 runs a week (my sister requested as I got her hooked the last time i was up there)
    - I am toying with the idea of taking my weights with me too (will do a weigh workout 1-2 times this week).
