Still a good bit to go then, what height are you? Only reason I ask is I'm 5.5 and 10.6 - 10.9 is where I am happiest although I reckon I still could have gone another half a stone but my face was getting a little on the thin size!

Sadly I had to chose between the face and the belly! The face won

    I'm still 11.6 : ( 11 lbs to get off for Easter.

I have been pretty good this last week, the bread and naughties have gone now. I found it so hard to get back on track after Christmas, it really set me off. I maintained from 10.6 - 10.13 up until Christmas hit there so I am really really annoyed with myself. This last bit was hard to get off in the first place I can't believe I have let myself put it on again !

I am 5ft exactly, I think my healthy range is between 7.7 - 9.7 so I am aiming somewhere in-between. The last time I was 7.7 I was 17 so don't think it would suit me now at 28 but I will know once I get closer how I feel about it. I want to look healthy not gaunt.

I always notice the weight coming off my face, hands and feet first weird huh? But at least I have my nice slender hands back although now most of my shoes are too big. There are on the list of items to go on ebay. I was looking back at some old photos and I look bigger then than I do now even though I am a good stone heavier now. I think this may be down to me having more muscle now or maybe I just didn't know how much I truly weighed then either way I am happier with how I look now. I wear a 12/14 down from a size 16 which I feel much more comfortable picking up in a shop, would still prefer it to be a 10 though.

I think I would choose the face also it's what is on display all year. You can hide a belly under clothes.

I'm sure you will make your goal it really is easier without all the Christmas goodies lurking about. We still have some chocolate left but I have hidden them in the back of a cupboard so they are not on display, way too tempting otherwise.

    .

    :rotfl:

That made me chuckle! Yes its the face the punters have to see so its most important.

I know, just so annoyed with myself for going majorly off the rails. Still I've kept 5.7 stone off since April last year so can't be too hard on myself. I'm a 12 right now, I can still get in my 10's but they are way too tight so that's my goal too, to be a comfortable 10!

Great commitment to posting and sharing your meals and exercise btw - you see so many people come and go and start these things and then disappear! :T

Oh my feet only went down a size with 6.7 stone. I feel a bit robbed by that actually!!
  • I have found that when I want to eat something or do not want to exercise I think to myself how will I feel posting that. I think knowing that there are people that are completely unbiased in their approach to me helps keep me on the straight and narrow. Kind of like attending a group meeting for a weight loss club but free.
If I didn't post I think it would be so easy for me to slip into my old habits and I don't want that. I want to see something through to the end however long that may take.

5.7 is a great achievement :A very impressed.

Staying accountable definitely helps!! I do go to a SW but am thinking of going it alone very soon.

I don't get anything out of it anymore, if you suddenly disappear I'll come hounding you lol :rotfl:
  • I used to go SW but I felt like I didn't get much out of it. Although most of my meals now are SW friendly as I adapted my recipes for it and haven't switched back. I suppose if you are only paying your membership to weigh in then there is no point (that is how I felt anyway).
Why not take a payment break for a couple of weeks and see how you go. You can always come on here for support or if you have your own thread I can offer support there too.

  • I overslept this morning meaning that I couldn't do my morning walk from Liverpool St. to be honest it made me a little grumpy as I feel like the walk really helps to wake me up and ready to tackle the day. Also had to take the central line due to lateness and that always puts me in a bad mood. So at lunch I went for a little jaunty down to the river . A nice little London sight seeing trip in my lunch break and now I feel much more refreshed and relaxed. Just under a 3 mile round trip not bad for an hour and I had forgotten just how breathtaking the view of St. Paul's from Millennium Bridge is.
