I am really having some bad cravings for cake and doughnuts. It seems to be all I can think of I can even taste them. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Id advise you to cut out sugar as much as you can, that means anything such as stevia, truvia, agave nectar and look for hidden sugar in any processed food as well, plus drinks.
If you really want a slice of cake, have it but given that it takes two minutes to scoff you might want to think about whether it will pass and you can have something else.
Looking at your diary, there are days where you dont seem to be eating enough and you are exercising regularly, but Im not sure that you are exercising hard enough to make a big difference.
Friday and Saturdays food diary for example, not enough meals or calories.
3 meals and two snacks a day, you can lose weight on that, but its the quality of the food you are eating that matters.0 -

I have had the cravings since someone brought doughnuts in last Wednesday. I resisted them as I don't want to slip back into bad habits also if I am going to let myself have cake I would rather have a really nice home made cake than a shop bought one. Would seem worth it then.
I have cut out the sugar from my coffee and I don't add it to meals any more. Definitely do not use sweeteners yuk! I try and cook everything from scratch so I can control what goes in although I know that there are hidden sugars in some of the items I use namely the gravy and oxo cubes. I have just started making bread with no sugar.
I am working on upping my exercise (I started this morning). I suppose I am worried about eating too many calories I feel like 1600+ is scary territory for me. I feel like I am eating too much.
Even though calories have been low on those days I haven't starved myself I just wasn't hungry but I suppose if I do more exercise then my appetite will increase. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Reading thorough my last statement I suppose I am still working through my unhealthy attitude to food. Even when I was working out 11hrs min a week I was still reducing calories to around 1200. Looking back I know this was not healthy. Also I was doing slimmingworld so most of the food I was eating was packed with sugar.
I do feel more relaxed now over what I eat which feels really good almost like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
There are still some areas I need to work on and this is never eating until I am uncomfortably full. No matter what it is if I eat too much it starts the whole guilt/ disgust process. However this is one aspect that I do struggle with but am making progress. It's not so bad if I dish up my own meal as I can scale it down to what I feel is comfortable but if someone else dishes me up a portion even if I know it is too big I will continue to eat in other words clear my plate. I don't like to waste food so feel like I must eat it.
I do eat slower now and I try to eat to satiety and that is it, no matter what else is left on the plate. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

1600 is probably way too low for your needs. You work out your TDEE and then apply a factor for exercise, you could eat 1750 probably and still lose weight
In fact if you eat cleaner and reduce your portion sizes, you might be able to stop cal counting.0 -
This may sound like a stupid question but how do I increase my calorie intake while reducing portions?
I know that I can have butter, cream & cheese so I could add some more of these while cooking. I also need to add more vegetables and reduce my hidden sugars. I may just have answered my question? That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!
