Where did you get that idea from?

From your government, from the law, they teach them in school
they can leave school when they reach 16, but now i believe they changed that to 18,

to the third comment; Do try PLEASE on Google ITS RAINING DRUGS by Daily Mail, thank you all

Your earlier post said Belgrave Police station which is in Birmingham hence no trace of any raid in Birmingham.

Your local Police Station is Belgravia not Belgrave.

Looks like your son is a dangerous gang member.
These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.

What is it with u???? They used the chainsaw to cut the chain!!!!!
I never went next to the door, I can only see a big shadow and heard the noise, I was hiding behind the shoe cabinet, and I was going o my god, o my god, please stop give me a second to come and open
the door please stop, while I was crying and begin, my son woke up and came next to me and I said to him what did you do? Nothing as usual he said, what do u mean nothing why they doing this then? Mum stop crying, than he started saying stop it we going to open the door just let us come to the door, which is 1 metre and 4cm from the shoe cabinet, All that was going through my mind if I go next to the door they going to smash it on me

Which was exactly my point. People are saying on here that you should have opened the door. I don't think it was safe to open the door, since there were splinters flying around and they were using a chain saw to cut through the door chain. People are being impractical.

Imho, you did the right thing, taking cover while the police used excessive force, and certainly unnecessary force, since you have already said you would have let them in, to get through your door.

that's what I mean, no need for all that force. they couldn't get inn for few minutes, and the whole idea of a raid is to get inn as soon as they can, so use some logic the door is wow strong Im in and Im begin let me open it for you!! is just me or this does not make sense
they try to get inn so they can get the evidence, but Im not moving around to hide stuff Im next to the door!!!!

I'm just angry, fuming and I felt like it was not fair they should have gave me few seconds to open the door, and it would have gave them easy access,

Well maybe you need to direct your anger towards the only one person who deserves it, your son. If he had not done something illegal, you wouldn't be here posting about how unfair the world is, and everyone being against you.

If that's how you raised your son, that regardless of the wrongs he has done, it is everyone's fault that you have to face the consequences, it is no surprise he has ended up in trouble.

Your son is not a poor innocent victim, he is a criminal who deserves what he is getting. You should delighted that the police has intervened when they have as he has more a chance to learn about his wrong doing from it then from how you seem to be bringing him up.

No it's not the end of this.

I agree your son was wrong but the Police weren't wrong.

!!!!!!, pay for the bloody door.

    Don't be ridiculous!
The chain would be attached to the door and the door jamb.

Using one of the battering rams pictured in the Daily Mail article below would rip the chain from either the door or the door jamb.
    No need for a chainsaw.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2641512/Its-raining-drugs-Cannabis-money-thrown-windows-police-swoop-suspected-dealers-massive-raid.html

Actually, in that article, it does say that
Simultaneously, another flat in Chaucer House was knocked on, rather than broken down, and a 17-year-old man was arrested.
So the Police obviously had the option of knocking on your door rather than breaking it down but they must have considered your son such a potential risk to their safety that they decided that breaking the door down was the best approach.

!!!!!!, pay for the bloody door.

This has to be a wind up. No-one can be that stupid, rude, stubborn, in complete denial and there are no reports anywhere of such large scale raids taking place, as has been pointed out. If the police needed chain saws (which they do not use) to get through the door it must have been a reinforced door, the kind druggies install. The OP would be better carrying on making popcorn for us all. Bet she's a bundle of fun with her neighbours
