They had four minutes in which to open the door but failed to do so. That says it all.

So how exactly do you open the chain on the door when there's a chainsaw cutting through it? Not to mention splinters flying everywhere while the police are trying to batter it down?

Whinge whinge pathetic whinge. You were targeted because your son dealt drugs not because of the colour of your skin. Get it through your thick skull. Looks like the Police have spent 5 months identifying everyone involved in drug dealing in your vicinity raided the lot. 19 or 22 is a hell of a lot of drug dealers for one estate and I am glad that my taxpayers money has been used by the Police to target and hopefully take apart such a large drug dealing gang. I hope your son is jailed for a very very long time. The actions by the Police was rightful because your son is a despicable vile drug dealing scum. If he had spent more time finding a job rather than dealing drugs then he wouldn't be where he is now. He has nobody to blame but himself. Your self pitying whinging shows you just don't get it do you. The Police have done nothing wrong. They have done everything right. Your son is solely responsible for what has befallen him and for you having your door smashed down. You just can't face reality your son is a criminal and look to blame the Police for not politely knocking on your door or targeting a white drug dealer in a flash car instead. A responsible parent would have reported that their son was dealing drugs instead of allowing him to continue dealing from your home for 5 months plus. Out of interest what did he do with the proceeds of his drug dealing?

You saying my skull is thick, Now I'm saying again HE WAS NOT DEALING FROM MY HOME AND HE WAS NOT DEALING FOR 5 MONTHS THEY HAVE 5 COUNTS ON HIM HE JUSt STARTED TO DO THAT because they were lots of boys involved that's why it took them 5 months. And yes I know that nobody put a gun on his head, It was his choice. Thank you

HE was not known drug dealer and he did not sell from my home

I thought you said he sold to undercover officers. If so, I think we can safely assume he was a known drug dealer.

jackanory, it gets better every post, just pay for the door and stop using excuses to try and defend the un defendable, please don't use your ethnicity to hide behind its not ethical.

Could I ask why this is posted in Benefits & Tax Credits section of the forum.
If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague

I know he's your child, but maybe it's a good idea, at times like this, to step back and view the situation impartially.

If he is dealing, then he is motivated by greed. If you don't believe this, wander down to the local courthouse one morning and you'll see what I mean. Expecting poor, badly dressed people? That's another country maybe, not ours. Young people, strutting around in artfully put together designer gear, latest hair cuts, all looking like they should be modelling, not dealing.

Yes, you're upset, but at the end of the day, he's 17 going on 70, not 2 or 3 years old. It's his life. He's choosing a path which is ruining it. You just have to let go. You did your best. Yes, it is awful, but it doesn't then follow that the police are allowed to use excessive and unnecessary force in the execution of their duties.

You need to claim compensation and make a formal complaint. If enough people claim when the police act like this, then as with our local police force, it can cause them to change their behaviour for the better.

He would be an extraordinarily unlucky drug dealer if the ONLY five occasions he had dealt he sold to undercover police officers.

Just pay for your own bloody door woman.

Maybe it was these officers ;)

Seriously? So the police have to knock politely on a home where a known drug dealer lives and wait god knows how long for a family member to maybe open the door, or maybe run get a machete or a gun?
Good luck trying to prove the police, in these circumstances used unreasonable and excessive force. You seem to forget you are taking the word of the parent of a drug dealer - who seems to feel its eveyone else's fault but their own that their child turned to crime. This parent can't even keep their story consistent on an internet forum. I would like to think the complaint would be used to wipe the gunky bits out of the bottom of the local nick's kitchen bin. I'm pretty sure the PCC would say hmm he's a known drug dealer and the police forced entry during the execution of a warrant. What's unreasonable about that?

I'm only going on what happened up here with our police force.

It's one thing breaking down the door if the person in question
is likely to be present, but quite a different thing if the police, who should have done their homework on all occupants of the household, not just their target, know the other occupants to not be involved in the particular vice they are targetting AND one of those occupants is trying to let the police in but can't because of their violent actions.

I consider the police in this instance used excessive force, and if the results of such complaints up here are anything to go by, there's a good chance the tribunal would agree with me.
