  • Good for you. Don't lead someone on. It's not fair.

Concentrate on what you enjoy. I need to get back to my healthy eating as it always makes me feel so much more energetic. Am slightly cheesed off as I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing or what the future holds. Cue giving myself a big kick up the behind.

  • Why are you not sure you're doing the right thing? Do you mean about your job??

Yeah, glad I cancelled as would have just felt like forcing it anyway and would rather sit on sofa with cat!

  • Right so London boy has just sent a message saying "you too. I'm always here if you need an escapee from x. Hope this week is more normal for you. X"

Erm - why?! I've told you I understand your position and told you to take care. Don't now be acting like I can come and visit when I want to - it's like that joss stone song - you had me, you lost me, you lost me, you wasted, you cost me, I don't want you here messing with my mind"!!!!

  • Yup. Doing an industry swap, feels scary but exciting. I think I had a big disappointment last time and the nerves aren't far behind. This could be good though. I'm just really sad to leave my colleagues. I need to be braver. Got to hold my nerve.

Good for you, for seeing LB for what he's doing. Messing with your head! Not nice!

  • I'm sure you could always go back if it didn't work out. And if you're passionate enough it can't fail to work. Have you read who moved my cheese? If not, might be worth you reading as may make you feel better about your (undoubtedly fabulous) choice x

  • just dropping by with hugs :) nothing useful to say I am afraid just more hugs in case X
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • My best mate from home thinks I should respond with a couple of misses cos she says he seems like a genuinely lovely guy and it's only the distance that's a problem. I don't think I should respond at all

  • I'm with you, there's no response required. Don't send mixed messages, draw the line. Does your best mate's OH have any friends?

  • Sadly not. At least not that I know of. I'm sure if he did she'd have fixed me up,over the years! Most of his mates I know from school (he was in my brothers year - younger - ha ha, cougar!) and then the rest are footballers as he used to be a professional footballer. But they're all taken or only want 20 year old WAGS!!

Yes I agree. If I respond then it looks like I'm wanting something again and he's made his position clear
