So London boy has messaged basically saying it's over - he wants someone closer as he gets lonely living alone and needs to grow up. He's said if I ever move back to ensure I let him know and that I'm great company, just not from a distance

Am pretty upset actually

The other thing that hurts is that he made the effort to do long distance with the last 2 so why not me?

Thanks SS. Just feel pretty used and like I put in a whole load of effort for nothing. Worst thing is I kind of understand where he's coming from but why bother in the first place if the distance was an issue?!

I agree Lulabelle, why get involved if his criteria is so specific. Especially as he's 'tried out' two others and didn't like it.

But I'm sure he's been making negative noises all along, except his actions said something else. I think when men say they want to have fun, they really only want to have fun. But us women can't help but lead with our hearts. Yours is a precious heart and you need to protect it for someone special.

Put it down to experience and don't let it cast a shadow. You've got a lot of life to live yet and soon this will be a distant memory. Don't let silly boys spoil it.

Ok. So started back today on diet and fitness. I know being fit, healthy and eating properly will help with my mood. So I had a protein shake for brekkie, came home at lunch and made a sandwich so know it was fairly low cal and healthy. Also emptied my suitcase which had been lying in kitchen since trip to see London boy. Some of my clothes smell of him so I can't face washing them yet. Sad I know. Anyway, had that then a tunnocks tea cake mid afternoon. Refused to eat the cake someone had brought into work

Tea now baking in oven. Was going to go for a run but am too hungry! But have training in the morning. Maybe I'll take a vitamin tablet too.

Was supposed to be going out for a drink with someone weds night but cancelled as don't fancy him so what's point and also am out for a mates birthday thurs and so can't really face 2 nights out in a week
