    Afternoon all

Tired today following my exertions from yesterday. Back on plan though:

Brunch - Toasted ham and cheese sandwich, using 30g cheddar (HEX A) and two slices of wholemeal from an 800g loaf (HEX B and 4 Syns).
Dinner - SW BBQ pulled pork with wholemeal rice, peas and sweetcorn
Snacks - Bowl of fruit (strawberries, nectarine, raspberries, Clementines and a banana) with FF yoghurt
Possibly have a fruit split lolly

    Milk - 2.5 Syns
    Bread - 4

    Total Syns - 6.5

Body Magic - You've got to be kidding! Getting out of bed was exercise enough!

    Edited - No lolly.

Great that you can eat so much isn't it!! I'd make sure you get some SFs into you though as well as free food.

Are you keeping half a HEB for later? (curious why you synned Alpen Light).:)

I get a bit confused, is it two Alpen Light bars to make up a Healthy B then? I've always just counted one! I might be selling myself short :D

I love SW because I love my food, I couldn't do one of these diets where you were really limited on what you could eat. I would be a miserable cow!

Hello all, welcome to more people!

    Green(ish) menu
B - branflakes & milk (HEB and a bit of HEA)
L- just waiting for it to finish cooking... quorn fillets cooked in the oven in a veg sauce, SW roasties, carrots & green beans
    T - beans on toast.

    Snacks - fruit & yoghurt
Syns - butter for my toast and some real vimto.

The house smells lovely but food not quite cooked yet so I'm getting very hungry!

Body Magic - yeah right, I'm not leaving the house in this weather :D

Either one or two makes an HEB. One is a speed food S, two is extra high fibre FF. So take your pick!

I think we can all agree with your second point :rotfl:

Ah is that how it works! Thanks for clearing that up for me.
  • Thanks meg and tazzy for comments re rice pudding. Really fancying it now. Might stick some in the oven so that it will be ready after wi tomorrow night. Would it be a problem if I used all almond milk instead of milk and water - thinking it might be richer/creamier? I had intended making half the amount as there is only me who eats it. As the hexa allowance is 875mls and the recipe would need about 560mls of milk and water I was thinking that this might be ok - unless anyone can see a problem with this. Hope this isn't going to be disappointing as the one I am imagining right now is made with double cream etc

On another topic ............ since I started SW at the end of March (size 24) I have lost almost 3st and most of the clothes I am wearing/buying are still a bloomin size 24  Beginning to think that life isn't fair :( We were at a lovely wedding on Friday and I felt ok in my outfit until I saw of photo that DS took of me - to say it wasn't very flattering was an understatement. We have another wedding August next year and I said to DH this morning 'I wonder what size I will be for that one'. And that is the million dollar question :rotfl:

DH made some pea soup (couple of tins of basics mushy peas, stock, spring onion and mint and dollop of ff yoghurt). Quite pleasant says DH but he said there was something missing from it. I asked him what was missing and his reply was 'a hot bread roll with pat of real butter like the one we had at the wedding' :rotfl:

I'm assuming you're doing Green plan from the amount of HEXs. So, looking at your menu that's 2xHEA (milk and cheese) and 2xHEB (tuna and Alpen Lights). You should be measuring your HEXs so 90g of tuna and the amount of cheese will depend on which type as with milk. You'll soon get the hang of it. Just ask if you need anything.

Hi Maman. I'm doing EE actually. I only have a small dash of milk in my tea so I kind of counted that in with my tablespoon of cheese as a HEXa. The tablespoon of cheese isn't a whole HEXa so I thought it would work that way. Am I wrong to split it?
  • Hi,

Anyone help me out please as I cant find a syn value for these?

Aldi snack noodle spicy curry flavour 90g ( dry pot noodle type thing )

    Cheers,

  • Hi,
Sunday is my slobby day and today I seem to be reaching new heights :o although I did pop to the garden centre for a new bin (exciting life)
    Breakfast SW fry up
Lunch about 10 syns of liquorice bought at garden centre:eek: and a muller light
Tonight maybe just SW egg and chips and half a melon.

I sort myself out on Sundays as I have the day to myself - My daughter her other half and my gorgous grandson live with me (see Frogga they don't always go) but they visit his family on Sundays, they are saving up for their first home and I feel so honoured that I have had 8 months with my grandson however I know that they will one day go and it's the way it should be, but I will visit loads:p

Thinking I haven't got the hang of this superfree business so I might have a bath with my SW book and read it properly:o
    LBM- finally kicked in 16/12/08 @ [strike]£41,862 [/strike] £0.00/ DFD- 24/12/13 :D
