Welcome. I don't know about number 1 although there is a section in the syns part of your book that gives some idea for takeaway food.
Pizza, sorry, it's really full of syns! The cheese you could probably use as an HEA if you knew how much was on it. You could try making your own bread based pizza - HEB wholemeal sliced bread, tomato sauce, any veggies you want and measured HEA cheese. Not quite the same admittedly!
I'm just thinking that when I get to target I'm going to treat myself to a real pizza. Only a few more months to go...
I made 'pizza' last week with a Warburton's Square Wrap and my HE's for 8synsit was lovely. I'm attempting to avoid pizza on the whole (sooo tough as it's my fav!) but as we are away for a few days I wanted to use Tesco Clubcard vouchers and they all seem to be for Italian places. I'll try to have the veggie pasta option but wanted to be forewarned just in case
.
Since posting I have been googling and found some info on the SW website, although it is old and annoying says 'just a few syns' rather than the actual amount.

Today's menu is so bad I hardly dare post. But then, I have cycled 65km over a 6 hour period - that's going to burn a lot of calories.

Snack - Hi-Fi salted caramel bar
L - Pulled pork with coleslaw in a brioche bun
Snack - white roll with butter
Dinner - chicken kebab in pitta with about a tablespoon of full fat mayo

flutterbyuk, I think you're asking if the cheese or wholemeal bread you have when eating out can be counted as HEXs. if that's so then yes you're right. Unfortunately I never seem to find wholemeal sandwiches just plain brown or granary which aren't the same.:( maybe it's different in your neck of the woods.
I don't know if others have noticed but SW recipes in the magazines always used to say things like 'deduct 6 syns if using as a HEX' but they seemed to have stopped that now. No idea why.
As for your other question, there is a section on the website about eating out. Do you have access? It lists specific restaurant chains. Then there's the more obvious stuff like asking for salads without dressing/JPs without butter etc.0 -

I have you down for total loss of 6.8 now, what should I add to it?
Hello annie - can you please add 3.2. thank you very much
I have tried a lot of the different milks and mentioned it a while ago . The almond breeze unsweetened does make a nice rice pud. I use sweetner and pop some cinnamon and nutmeg on top.

Hi all,
I'm joining! I'm new to SW and hope to lose a stone and a half. Last week was week one and I was gutted to gain half a poundHowever, weigh-in day is Monday, and the day I joined my friends came to stay. I was with them a lot and wasn't able to figure out SW properly, so I started it properly on the Friday. I was still gutted I gained because when I started properly n the Friday I really stuck to it. ANYWAY. New week, and it's going well I think. Here is what I ate today (I'm a pescatarian, btw):
Breakfast- Muller Light with 1 Alpen light (1 HEX b) (junky breakfast- I struggle with this meal)
Lunch- 2- egg omelette with spinach, mushrooms, onion and a tbsp of cheese
dinner- tuna steak with new potatoes and onions fried with soy sauce and frylight with 4 raw carrots
snacks- 2 eggs, 2 oranges, 1 diet coke, 2 bottles sparkling water, tea with milk (HEXa), loads of sugar snap peas, Alpen light bar (HEXb 2)
syns- sliver of a cake my son made- I synned 4 as it was literally a sliver. 1 curly wurly - 6. 1 sugar in my tea. Syns- 11
Does this look okay? I"m eating so much- maybe too much?0 -
Dinner last night could have been a whole lot worse, but I decided to drive so only had one glass of wine. The downside is I now have to put up with the OH who is sprawled out on the sofa groaning today and the menu I had planned for today is out of the window. I'm not wasting my time doing roast Sunday dinner if he's not going to eat it so I've bunged the lamb in the freezer and will just make a vat of syn free minestone type of soup instead.
So far today
B: Scrambled egg, toast (hexb) and tomatoes.Mortgage
Start January 2017: $268,012
Latest balance $266,734
