You know you're SW when you don't bring a bag of rock back from the seaside, it's a value pack of 6 yellow peppers that was in the supermarket on your way home :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

If you hate veggies but love fruit, try combining the two, my friend is like this but gets round it by adding grated carrot to chopped apple and pear, grated cabbage and celery to pineapple.
and my favourite, finely chopped tomato , onion and grapes.
And if you don't like traditional veg, try eating loads of pickles with your meals (like the wonderful wizanother veg hater). I have beetroot, cornichons, pickled cabbage, onions, peppers in brine.

Do you just pile on the cottage cheese wiz, or do you grill it at all?
Today didn't work out too badly. Couldn't get into our usual gastropub for lunch so ended up in a 'Hungry Horse' type place. I just had steak with a JP. Did have an onion ring and butter on the potato but otherwise fairly SW friendly. Vegetable soup later tonight.
Thanks for posting about the site meg. I've had exactly those problems. Right PITA.0 -

I like that idea, I'm not counting today.
The scales say a three quarters of a pound off but I'll just claim that as -0.5 lb off for me today please Annie
It all feels a bit weird; although I can feel the slimmer me I have been doubting each week that the loss is for real, so even a very little loss is good as helps validate the loss of the week before.
Porridge for breakfast today and then dinner at a friends house tonight, so but I have no idea how that will pan out there will be wine and desserts so probably best I just have the day off.
Hope you all have a great weekendMortgage

Woke up at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep, decided to start organising the freezer as it is a right old jumble and makes it harder to plan when I cant find what I am looking for. Two hours later I have two drawers sorted and labelled, one for fish and the other bacon and gammon. Having a coffee break to warm up a bit and will tackle other drawers later.Slimming World at target0

Morning Meg,
I'm another early riser. Rodney woke me up at 4.30 because he was lonely downstairs on his own so I came down  and tried to be happy about it. I do like walking across the fields at that time though as it's very peaceful. He never used to be 'needy', but since his brother died, he just doesn't like being on his own.
The tooth saga has taken another turn. Wouldn't you just believe it, nothing is ever simple. I've got a 'dry socket infection' ?? Apparently the blood clot that should have formed for some reason didn't, leaving the hole exposed, hence the infection. It's flipping painful I can tell you. The dentist said it would be for about 5-6 days. She said I'm not being a wuss, it is excruciating (I know I'm not a wuss, I had 2 tadpoles without pain relief!). Ho hum.
So I've been feeling sorry for myself again. But I haven't binged. I thought about it last night. I was going to have some toast, with dairylea on it, and then an ice-cream. And then I was gonna have a scone or two that are still in the tub. Then I thought I might have some chocolate from my drawer. But I couldn't be bothered to get of the setee so I didn't. And then the urge went away. So thank goodness I'm such a lazy fat frog
My head is a bit mashed up at the moment. I keep crying at the drop of a hat. Lots of things have mashed it recently. My whippet Del dying, cleaning out the loft and seeing all the 'memories', my sore tooth, and the Tadpoles keep talking about when they leave home. It feels like lots of things are changing, and I don't like it. I like things like they are now.
I really like my Tadpoles, but they've got legs now, and their tails are getting shorter, and soon, they'll be hopping off to another pond. And I just can't bear the thought of not living with them anymore. It never occurred to me before. I mean I know children do grow up and move away, but I never thought about it. But it will happen. And I won't see them in the morning, or after school, and we won't watch the telly together in the evening. And it will just be me and Mr Frog. And they'll love someone else more than me. It doesn't feel right? They haven't got their bags packed or anything, but they keep talking about it all happy and excited and it's horrible. I bought them up to be independent, and to want to live life to the full. And now they flipping well are, and they're doing it without me!
Maybe it's just my sore tooth that's making me sad. I think I think too much about things. I think I'm just scared of the future, in case I don't like it. The past is another country. And if I don't like the future, I might not be able to find my passport and get back there. I probably threw it out when I cleaned out the loft
The best thing I can do is stay in control of my eating, and hopefully everything else will fall into place. I wonder if I would be able to cope with all these things if I were happy with my weight? That would at least be one thing?
Have a good day all. I'll stay on track today. Well, I'll genuinely try.Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Dearest Frogga~~I so so feel your pain.
Yes your tadpoles may fly away (or whatever tadpoles do~swim most likely) but they will also come back & they will always be in your heart.
I love my bestest boy more than anything in the world but I want him to live his life & not feel tied to me or that he has to be there because of my disability. It is the greatest gift I can give him.I miss him so much at the moment as he is off on an adventure but when he comes back I will give him the biggest hug ever.
Yes, I feel lonely sometimes but that is life. You have Mr Frogga
Stay strong dearest Frogga.

Hi Maman, regarding cottage cheese, I have'nt grilled it, I just put half a carton on two slies of toast and put sliced tomatoes on top.yummy! I also use in when I make s/w crust less quiche. That's yummy too.
I can't understand why I like pickled cauliflower, but can't eat it boiled. I like pickled cabbage but not boiled. I like all veg In broth and soup but I can't eat them separate on a plate.
Also, onions, I hate onions, I don't like the onion but like the flavour in stews etc. I put it in whole and then share it with the family, and I just get the flavour of it. I told you that I am a faddy person and I'm sure there's no one as bad as me. No wonder I find it hard to lose weight. But, it's moving slow but sure.0
