Damn scales were hovering again down to the lower pound but then settled on what I have been the last two weeks so will put myself down for a STS please Annie. This is the lowest weight I have been in, in around 3 years so can't complain really!

    Hi all
Exhausted but happy- just been to the Open Day at Leicester Tigers and had a lovely chat to some of the players- plenty of body magic as up and down the stairs in the stands but my back is pretty sore! Just looked at my pedometer app and I've covered 4.5 miles today burning 445 calories! I'm down to 14 2 which is not good- I went with the intention of being naughty and having a burger but I wasn't hungry so I just had a bottle of Pepsi Max. Think I will have a salad when I get in.
    Menu for today:
B: HEXB Alpen Light x 2, NAS cordial
L: Chicken chunks, mixed salad, gherkins. Mullerlight, NAS Cordial
T: Pasta carbonara with frozen garden peas and HEXA laughing Cow light, 1 wholemeal wrap (8 syns) 2 kiwis
Cinema snacks- diet coke, mango chunks, cheese twist (2 syns)
    Syns: 10
    Body magic: loads of walking!
    Hope everyone's ok x

Big thick line being drawn under the last couple of days :o Went to buffet on Thursday and there was absolutely nothing SW friendly  Had planned on picking a little bit of something with plenty of salady stuff - not a lettuce leaf or tomato in sight. Yesterday we were at a lovely wedding day time and night time do. Evening was a gorgeous hot buffet but totally not SW friendly. I offered to drive so stayed alcohol free but felt as though I was going to explode with all the soda water.

Bought an M&S fruit scone for this afternoon - I just know it won't be as lush as I remember them however ..................... ;)

Here is my line just to act as a reminder for me

I have bought some of the Almond Breeze Unsweetened Milk - sorry I cannot remember who mentioned it. I think you can have about 850 mls of it as hexa. Planning on trying to make a rice pudd - if anyone has any tried and tested recipe I would be very grateful. :D

Sorry I haven't been able to catch up properly with everyone but well done to all the losses and big fat hugs to everyone struggling.

Hope you manage to get some ease from your toothache frogga

EE today - does it sound ok?:
B- Eggs, mushrooms, bacon(2), beans, watermelon
L- macaroni, dairylea light (half of HEA), carrots, cauli, broccoli, 2x Asda reduced fat cumberland sausage (3)
D- haddock (breaded (HEB) with milk (other half of HEA) as OH is allergic to eggs) with SW chips & mushy peas or salad

Snacks- mullerlight cappuccino, orange, frozen grapes
Syns - bacon (pretty lean anyway but left the fat on), sausage. Saving some syns for Monday as I'm going to a Thai restaurant with friends.

I'm finding it really hard not to weigh myself at home each morning. I think I'm just really nervous to what the scales will say on Wed as it's my first week & I feel like I'm just forever wanting to eat now I'm trying to be aware of what I'm eating? Bleh, I don't think I make any sense! :s

Menu looks fine but I'd suggest the salad rather than peas with your fish & chips just to keep the SF up (I'm obsessed:o)
:T on avoiding the scales so far. You know it's not a good idea.

Don't worry about going below target MrsR. I think it's an excellent idea before you go away then you can go off plan without feeling bad about it. Glad you had a good time at the rugby ground. When does your season start?

I'll be interested to hear how you get on with the rice pudding beg. the SW recipe is for one done on the hob but personally I like baked rice pudding, good and firm and very good hot or cold.

    Hi all

I'm a newbie (wk 2 on SW) and was wondering if someone could help point me in the right direction on a couple things? I am veggie and do Green days only.

    1. Is there a good eating out guide/thread/website/blog that can help when eating out? I am going away for 2 night with the OH and don't want to be too restricted but want to stick to SW.
I presume that things like pasta, curries or sushi may be the better option? Or mexican chilli?

    2. I know if you have a shop sandwich on wholemeal you can deduct 6syns from the total if using the bread as a HEB. Does this count for cheese on things like a pizza? (wishful thinking!!!).

    Thanks :)

I think it was me who posted about the almond breeze and I have had a few goes at it now this is the best one so far, but am still considering tweaking to get a really good skin on it.
    http://vicki-kitchen.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/almond-milk-rice-pudding-slimming-world.html I made a much smaller quantity
and of course sweetner not sugar. I realloy want to get the good oldfashioned nutmeg flavour with lots of skin.

Welcome. I don't know about number 1 although there is a section in the syns part of your book that gives some idea for takeaway food.

Pizza, sorry, it's really full of syns! The cheese you could probably use as an HEA if you knew how much was on it. You could try making your own bread based pizza - HEB wholemeal sliced bread, tomato sauce, any veggies you want and measured HEA cheese. Not quite the same admittedly!

I'm just thinking that when I get to target I'm going to treat myself to a real pizza. Only a few more months to go...
