I found the first day really hard as I'm trying to break the habit of snacking at night but hopefully today will be better as I have a lot of fruit and ham to hand if I'm feeling peckish.
Does anyone have any snack ideas other than veggies/fruit and muller lights? Preferably on the savoury side as I don't have much of a sweet tooth.
I'm a big late night savoury snacker too and stocked up on Philadelphia and Laughing Cow Cheeses to have with celery, ryvitas or other crackers but I have found I really haven't needed to turn to those very often as am obviously being more satisfied by my main meals.
B: Yoghurt & Banana
L: A bit off plan due to an unexpected lunch date - I chose Pad Thai thinking at least most of it would be free but have absolutely no idea of the Syns involved so guessing at maximum 5HM Chicken Biryani I found here; http://swchef.blogspot.co.nz/2011/06/chicken-biryani.html which wasn't great with the sloppy consistency of a risotto rather than biryani
HexA: Milk
Snacks: An apple, a satsuma and half an iced bun (maybe 10 syns)
That seems really bad but between the lunch and the bun I reckon should be within 15Mortgage
Start January 2017: $268,012

Absolutely!! You'll enjoy it on here.:)
The Schwartz shakes are free so that's not the problem but I'd be surprised if it's the lack of exercise either that's slowed your weightloss. I do very little exercise (compared to many of the superstars on here!;)) and have got to target that way.
Are you dong the Red (original) plan? If so, you should be having more HEXs. I don't see any mention of potatoes or pasta? Maybe you need a bit more fibre? If you've eaten much the same all along perhaps a few different things in your menu to shake things up a bit. Another possibility is too much fruit compared with veg due to the sugar content. And I don't see any mention of syns?
Sorry for that load of comments but just thinking aloud why you might have gained.
I've had a SW breakfast (eggs on toast) but out to lunch so not expecting great things.
ETA: Glad your DD's OK mim. Meant to ask: if that Fibre Filler's a HM cereal does it count as a HEB or are you just experimenting with it?
Thanks for the reply...i am on EE started mid may and to be honest havent had more than 5 por 6 syns a day..tend to have a aldi white choc chewy bar which is 5 as it satisfies my choc craving and biccy craving in one tastes like a white choc flapjack and ks my evening treat
So glad those spices are free i love them they make veggies edible for me0 -
And i think you are right i need less fruit and far more veggies...hate them though0

Right, I have taken on board the advice here and need to add the following to today's menu:
1 Waitrose pecan and maple biscuit (6 Syns)
1 Mugshot (chicken and sweetcorn noodle) - Free
I have also had a think about what I can add to my diet that increases my Syns without being too unhealthy. As a result I've discovered Marmite is free and peanut butter only 4.5 for a level tablespoon.
Body magic was the usual cycle to work.
Tomorrow I am doing the Preudential Freecycle to London - total mileage is going to be around 32. I am planning on taking a couple of bananas, a couple of Hi-Fi bars and will have porridge for breakfast.0 -
Anyone know what that fast forward plan is on sw?
Fast Forward is only available to members in consultation with their Consultant. You have to agree what you are going to be eating for the whole week and stick to it! It's actually done by set meals which vary in the number of points they "cost" you.
You'll be given a number of points and have to work out your week's menu from the lists available.
It certainly isn't for everyone. Our consultant calls it "a straight jacket"!
I have to say I haven't actually done it but have seen the meals available and wouldn't want to do it.
Just realised I've answered quite a few queries this morning but not actually posted my menu for today:rotfl:.
Another EE day:
B - marmite on toast; banana (didn't have time for anything else as had to go out!)
L - LO corned beef hash (synned yesterday); grapes, pineapple
D - sausage, mash, veg - not sure what yet but will definitely include courgettes (I've been picking an average of 4-5 a day recently and have to keep giving them away because I can't use them all!).
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns: low fat spread; weekend wine!

You're not really following the Plan properly if you don't have a minimum of 5 syns a day. Your losses will be much better if you have more syns - daft as that sounds it seems to be true. You also don't seem to be eating very much at all. I'd be really hungry if I ate what you have planned for today!
I definitely think you need to up your syns. You should really aim for between 10 and 15 at the moment so that when your losses slow down you'll have somewhere to easily reduce.
Hope that makes sense.
Denise
I think I could come a cropper with this then, because I've not been having any syns most days. I've not had any for a week now. I really don't want to start on the chocolate (I might never stop!) but I think I'd better start having some syns. I'll be having some wine later and I'll try to add in some other stuff from tomorrow onwards. Just seems so counter-intuitive though.0 -
Woo hoo Friday afternoon and I've spotted a job to apply for that looks right up my street. Fingers crossed. I need a change and to work with some half normal people!!!
Might get a little Chinese as a treat tonight. Sometimes a little treat meal does me good to get things moving again.
Can't wait to relax later on. Not much planned for over the weekend. Funds are low but hey least its the weekend!!0 -
Well, hubby is still in bed with whatever bug has struck him down! I hoped he'd be better by now so I could wangle a nap!
Changed plan as I made the potential filling for stuffed courgette (if hubby recovers) and me and toddler had it for lunch with some pasta. It's basically a not-sloppy bolognaise type sauce made with quorn mince and I made sure there were loads of carrots in it as she'll pretty much eat anything if it has carrots - I'm pretty sure she should glow orange:rotfl:
Haven't done any body magic at all, really need to get off my backside...
Oh, and I haven't had any syns either. Will at least move to the kitchen and get me some sugar filled vimto.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Hi,
I lost 2.5lb this week so got my stone award.
Havnt really eaten properly today as my little girl has been poorly but hubby is home now so have a big pan of veggies cooking to go with some noodles and pork.
I tend to use all my syns every day. It don't think its affected my losses- average of 2lb a week now. It helps me to not think that I am on a "diet" and deprived.April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£1500
