Arghj, head chef has just been in AGAIN with a load of amazing cheese, bread and salsa! Weighed out a small piece of cheese and some salsa but again, no more syns for me today... :(

Can anyone recommend a syn free, vegetarian ready meal?

I don't think there are any ready meals, they tend to end up with lots of extras in them that lead to synning!

A lot of the quorn products are free - quick bolognase sauce with mince and a few veg if you can and some pasta? I'd really recommend batch cooking some stuff so you've got things just to heat up. Also some of the burgers & sausages and stuff are free so you could do those with some potatoes and veg?

I kind of do them sporadically when I remember but I definitely think that they would. Anything I have looked at or people I've spoken to that seem to know anything about fitness seem to rave about them. They seem to have replaced sit ups (thank goodness as they are horrible). Planks are tough but not as hard as sit ups.

Think they are good for your posture as well. I am really trying to work on my posture and holding myself better - apparently this helps your core as well........

Just do what you can its all steps in the right direction! :)

I am going to start again, I found the 30 day one quite good as it builds you up gradually but it does make me shake, I had to look up the proper plank position to ensure I was doing it properly though.

Really short staffed in my business due to sickness means I have to cancel a trip away to Edinburgh Zoo with my DH and LO and it looks like they will not be back for me to go on holiday in September.

I could cry I really could. I run my own business and work an other job 20 hours a week. Week in week out work 7 days a week and what keeps me going is the thought of spending some quality time with my LO.

I have applied for a different job and if I get it I will not be able to move my holiday back until October/November time as I will be in training and I have to attend the full 6 weeks. There is literally 10 days in the middle of September we can go if I get the job and I really want the job.

Things not the best with my DH either and we really need some family time to get things back on track.

Big massive self pity party at my house today!

    EE for me again.

Breakfast - 2 x wheatabix, skimmed milk, banana, nectarine
Lunch - salmon salad, 3 chips! and some pasta.
Tea - smoked fish, rice, salad, dressing.

    Snacks - red apple x 2, melon

Syns - chips 1?, salad dressing 1 - going to have some chocolate or something to.

So sorry Taz, sounds like you could really do with a wee break :(

    Morning all!!

    Hope you're all well today!

After seeing posts from macpep1 and Lantanna regarding planking i've been thinking, shall we add these 'challenges' to this thread or have a separate thread maybe?

All i'm thinking is because I always seem to start off well and then start to forget to do them everyday and then forget about them all together, whereas if we kept track of them on here, we wont forget?

Anyone else think this may be a good idea?

I am also in favour of adding it on here, I find it hard enough (timewise) to try & get on the threads, hence why I do it in work :rotfl:.
I pledge to do my planking in the morning while I am waiting on the kettle boiling for my coffee :D. I will start the 30 day challenge afresh (day 1-20 secs, day 2-20 secs, day 3-30 secs.....up to day 29 which is 270 secs then day 30 - as long as you can!!!! It is on facebook under 30 day Plank Challenge for anyone who is interested, I too loathe the dreaded sit ups (as does my hubby becasue of the groans that I make when doing them) :rotfl:

Success Express Menu for me today

    B - 2 Weetabix, milk, melon, kiwi (A & B1)
L - SW Quiche (A2), large salad, (1 syn for dressing), melon, kiwi, shape % (1/2 syn).
D - Not sure yet as still have leftovers from yesterday as DH & DD didnt want dinner, they ate elsewhere , will be something with a load of cabbage anyway.

2nd HEB - 2 rocky roads with peppermint tea tonight watching GBBO & In The Club with DD (recorded them).

I'm having Sainsbury's Be Good to Yourself sausages. I'm not veggie, its just happens I've got a few green days in this week.

Snap! I'm having those tonight too. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but on Green they're 4 each not the 1 syn they are on EE and Red. Could you substitute veg and gravy for the egg and beans? You don't seem to have gone over on HEXs so not too late to change to EE.

There are low syn ready meals if needed in an emergency but IMO portions aren't that big and not really worth it compared to HM. But MrsR has lost masses and (due to limited coking facilities) eats lots of ready meal/microwaveable food. As an example: WW chilled Mediterranean vegetable pasta is 1.5 syns for a 400g pack.

It was just because I have probably had my syns today now what with that cheese our chef brought in, so I thought if I could pick up a ready meal it would replace the meal I've already made for tonight that has about 4 syns in! I'll just have it and flex syn it though.

I'm absolutely gob-smacked - I lost 3.5lb!!! I've never lost that much in one week before. This takes me to just 0.5lb from Bottom End!

I need to try and maintain or even gain a little next week so I don't drop out of target. I wanted to be at this weight in a couple of weeks time when I go on holiday to give me a bit of leeway as I'll be away from 3.5 weeks.

Yesterday went a bit mad as I forgot I'd had a slice of bread and had two benefit bars and accidentally ate 1/2 the SW quiche instead of a quarter, but I synned it and I think I ended up on 14 :o

    Today

B - Bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes

D - SW quiche and salad

T - Tuna and spring onion mayo jacket potato and salad

Just had a cup of superfart soup.

    HEXA - Milk/cheese
    HEXB - Benefit bars later

Loads of BM as we've been to two supermarkets and the library this morning on foot and the park this afternoon.

I want minimal syns due to a big weekend so I'm going to have an options later and potentially leave it there, having had 2 syns of mayo with my tea.

Day out to the seaside tomorrow, so the plan is:

B - Bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, hash brown and HEXB toast

Take 1/4 SW quiche and salad, fruit, 2 benefit bars and a packet of low fat crisps with me, no more than 5 syns along with a couple of cans of diet coke and some bottled water.

Hopefully this will keep me full until I get home, I'll cut the great white down to 60g which is about a slice and a half so should only have about 7.

Oh Meg of all the photos to pick off the net, why that one? That's my 'ex' friend from down the road. She got a few modelling jobs and it went straight to her head. They're veneers anyway!!

Hope you're all ok? Have been feeling sorry for myself all day. Am still very sore in the mouth department :(

I don't fancy veg & gravy so will just call it EE as I haven't had time to have extra Hex's anyway.
