Sainsburys do a low alcohol Czech beer that is only 1 syn for a massive bottle. I tend to drink my syns at weekend and I'm more of a wine person but everyone in my group was going on about this beer. I turned my nose up at it at first (thinking, it's low alcohol so what's the point?!) but actually it tastes nice and does give you that uplifted alcohol feeling.
Would strongly recommend to people who drink too much wine at night. I still have the odd glass of wine but I top it up with these beers. :rotfl:
There is also a normal strength one so you need to make sure you get the low alcohol one. Sainsburys own brand Czech beer.24.06.14 12 st 12 lb (waist 45" at fattest part of belly)

Good morning my Chubby Chums and Thank you for the Welcome Backs  and the hugs and kind thoughts. Right back at ya
So I hopped on the scales this morning. I thought it was going to be a lot worse, I thought I could easily have been right back in to the 18's, but it's 17st 3lb which is still disgusting, but not as bad as I thought. Flip me, I was actually relieved to be 'only' 17 st something
I haven't had breakfast yet, but it will be nice and big to set me off for the day. All the 'goodies' have gone. You're right Maman, I shouldn't even have them in the house, and I wouldn't normally, when I'm being good, but I've been stuffing and stuffing on purpose so I didn't want to even try to be good. But

there is the line, and I've drawn it now. I have 4 weeks left of Summer Holidays left so aiming to be in the 15's again by then. I'm going to get right back down to 13st before the winter. You'll see
We have so much growing in the farm around my pond; new pots, onions, leeks, curly kale, peas and corn on the cob!! I've taken my dog for his walk already and got 2 corn on the cobs for my lunch. They are absolutely FAB when picked and eaten straight away.
I know I have mental health issues, but even I was shocked at how much food I have in the cupboard and freezer. They are both bursting full. I could live off them for weeks and only have to buy the basics like milk and bread, and actually there are 4 loaves of my bread in my mums freezer as I ran out of room. I think I have an inbuilt fear of running out of stuff, and the tadpoles going without, or feeling fed up or deprived. I try so hard to be a 'perfect' mum and to always have full cupboards. Like that's what makes me happy? Full cupboards? Bonkers!
Anyway, day 1 today. Starting again, again. Hope TIE and Beanine feel they may try again again with me? Monday 4th August feels like as good a day as any. And if you are a lurker, who just reads and runs (yes you matey) why don't you post too? It can't be as bad as all that. Let's see if we can pull each other through.
Have a smashing day people, hopping off to clean up, after cup of tea number 5....Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

...another thing I forgot to say, there are a load of new TV series starting this week. I like to slim along side a good series.
For example the Great British Bake Off starts on Wednesday. It's on for 10 weeks. It will feel like it's over in a flash and the programme will feel like it comes round each week really quickly, so that helps tick the weeks off.
Also there is the new Kay Mellor drama 'In the Club' on tuesday for the next 6 weeks, Sarah Beeny's 'Double Your House For Half The Money' on C4 for 10 weeks, Who Do You Think You Are starts on C4 on Thursday for 10 weeks too so it's a really good week to start a fresh. In no time it will be episode 2 and we'll have got a week doneSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Pftt - decided to put off going into work early this morning in favour of cooking some sausages for my brekkie.
I'm not very good at eating a decent breakfast and find myself sat at work, tummy rumbling and raiding the office biscuit supply....
Unfortunately I overcooked them so now I am hungry and late (well not really late) for work and I have no lunch planned and no dinner planned either !0 -
Have only skim read the weekend's posts so can't really remember all the losses & gains; anyway good luck everyone for the coming week.
Didn't use as many syns as usual at the weekend and have left myself with 32 for Monday - Wednesday so not too bad, 10 a day! I'll probably struggle to use them without the wine, LOL!
Having a Red day today as have run out of potatoes so not egg & chips for dinner tonight which was what I had planned!
B - mushroom omlette
L - 2 rolls stuffed with LO pork from yesterday and HM coleslaw (so plenty of SFs in that); also has a little LTL mayo - 2 HEBs + 2 syns (rolls will also be lightly spread with mayo.
D - stuffed courgette (the other large overgrown one from last week!). I also froze the LO mince & veg mix last week so only have to halve the courgette and nuke it for a few minutes to soften, put in dish and cover in the mince mixture, grate some cheese (HEA) over the top and cook in the oven for about 20-30 minutes until the cheese is nicely melted and the courgette cooked through. Just hope it's as nice as it was last week.
Bit late having breakfast as have done a load of washing and got it out on the line first. Second load is in.
Have a good day/week everyone.

Frogga I have no words that you haven't already heard xxx
Gbbo and in the club are set up to record already for me
Gbbo is my anchor point really 10 weeks and it'll fly by - although it does tempt me but gotta resist sometimes
Unfortunately I'm of the mind set if theirs no treats in the house I crave them and then it gets out of control / knowing I have a multipack of something in makes me feel calm in a if I want it it's there comfort mood - often I don't
Oh yeah multipack size of twirls are 9 each so 4.5 per finger - rather a finger of a twirl than a freddo for me
Off to wi shortly - first to straighten my hair (it weighs less straightened) and to defuzz and then to pick my lightest clothes out the wardrobe
Today it's a secret wi so I won't see the number on the display - its making me feel anxious already
Only got this week and then back on holiday next week so will be off plan againthen I've nothing until Xmas planned (bar an odd meal and I can cope with that) oh and meeting my online friend
Planning to join the gym and maybe have a few pt sessions next month once mini me starts pre school Started sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb
New Year New You Challenge - /6lb0 -
Well, I have done it at last 1 below eleven . I can't believe it. I hope I don't get too complacent this week or I will be back above 11 next week. Well, it's been like that for two years, but, could be that I am actually moving this time. My clothes are much slacker so, that's something. Yippee ! :T :j0

Oh no, I've weighed myself this morning and I haven't lost an ounce.
Official weigh in tomorrow. Why do I do it, I just can resist.
I've had a reasonable week as well,
I've done this before, get down to 12.7 and then can't get below. I would dearly love to get to 10.7. Will it ever happen...Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Annie – That sounds great. I would actually kill for an ice cold beer. 15 months with no beer!!!! Might treat myself to one this weekend if I get my 6.7 stone cert on thurs. However by then no doubt the notion will have passed. I'm having Diet Coke cravings this morning as well.
Went out for an hours walk last night with a friend in the rain - I am hardcore lol. Middle is aching from all the flat belly exercises I did on Saturday night - I will get there and will have a stomach to be proud of by Christmas. My core needs major work though. my friend is getting a trainer - I can't afford one or really justify it in my head so I am even more determined to do this myself and am reading everything on exercise and diet that I can get my hands on.
I'm quite looking forward to Christmas as well - and being at target. However last Christmas I said to myself that this Christmas I would have a boyfriend - I felt a bit lonely. Still no boyfriend and no intention now of looking for one - plenty of tales of a boy that didn't want to be my boyfriend though lol. :rotfl: Well at least I can laugh - if I didn't I would cry!!
Anyway at least I will be at target and I have made some new friends this year that live nearby so I will be doing more socialising at Christmas, and won't be on my own so much- looking at the positives!! :j
Frogga - I have no words other than I know how it goes. Try to just focus on getting through each day and don't think too far ahead. I really find this helps me - get through the day - try not to think to far ahead - and then bed. Sounds a bit depressive but you know what I mean. P.S I lost my little dog last Halloween and it is very difficult - just know that they know that you loved them and gave them the best little life they could have had.
I can't wait for the tv to pick up a bit - it has been dire!!!
Not a lot planned for me for the rest of the year - which actually suits me as trying to get my finances in order - get a little saved , get my mind rested and recovered from boy drama, get to target and get this body toned!
I might actually look at doing a course in nutrition or something just as an interest seeing as I have turned into a Health & Fitness Freak.
I read the Clean & Lean Cookbook yesterday - leant to me by a friend - asparagus is apparently the key to a flat tummy and according to him you need one treat meal a week to shock your metabolism! Suits me!!
