I am frustrated that I ended up having pizza for tea tonight. I dread to think of the syns.

I'm similarly annoyed with myself, I went to a work lunch thing - started off being all good and turned down the pizza in favour of my own ham sandwich and a very virtuous banana; but then I gave way to temptation and followed that with some quiche and cake. :( On the bright side, I suppose it really could have been a lot worse.

I seem to have recovered from tum pain but boy what a bad night, carried on til well into the morning too. Rest of day have been ok.

    Food today;
    B - ReadyBrek, honey (2) coffee
    S - coffee
    L - salad, beetroot, noodles, honey/mustard mayo (2)
    S - activia
T - chicken risotto, onions, peppers, mushy peas (seem to be over run with tins of these), splash of BBQ sauce (1)
    HEA - milk
    HEA - ReadyBrek
    Syns - 5

Well done to you losers and hugs to those in need :A keep the faith all :A

Glad your tum is a bit better, had to giggle about being over run with mushy peas, I have loads in the wardrobe, stocked up when they were 4p last year. They have come in really useful for the plan though. I have been looking for other ways to use them up and made a quiche last week and just stirred a can into the usual ingredients it was quite tasty.

    Morning all,

Hope you are all well. I'm struggling a bit at the moment. I have Trigeminal neuralgia which is kept under control with meds most of the time but rears it's ugly head when I'm tired or stressed out.
Had a busy few weeks helping my dd to move house and looking after my grandson and think I'm just tired. Anyway had a bad couple of days. This does affect my eating in that like all emotional eaters I think that eating will make me feel better.
It means I want to snack. Nothing major but I can tell I'm maintaining just now rather than losing. I have lost a pound in total over the last two weeks. I've promised myself I will try and eat more super free and make sure I'm satisfied so that I can knock the snacking on the head. I'm also going to try and have a bit of a rest after today. As my grandson is off with his daddy for a week so I have a bit of a break
Well off to play junior Monolpoly:eek: have a good day all.

    Morning everyone

Not been around much this week due to busy, busy, busy at work then coming home to a houseful of tradesmen and dust..oh the dust...everywhere:eek:

My old cooker must know it's getting replaced with a lovely, shiny new sleek hob....now down to two rings and the oven. Grill went on the blink last night! Another two or three weeks of this and eating out of the cupboards, oh joy.

Anyway, STS on Tuesday night which I was OK with as at a corporate do at the games on Saturday and I won the gold in eating and drinking for Scotland:rotfl:

Annie, don't think I will get on tomorrow as electrician in all day again. Really sorry to be a pest:o

Have a good weekend all, away for a quick catch up x

Still having car problems:mad:, hopefully it will be back later but I think I need to make a contingency for today's food as usually I meal plan/shop on Fridays.

Julie, I find snacking can have nothing to do with being full/satisfied. I was grumpy yesterday from my 1lb gain etc and was eating even when I knew supper was going to be ready in 15 mins. Fortunately it was only slices of ham I was shovelling in.

    EE plan so far:
B: NAS Ribean, HEB Shreddies, HEA milk
L: ham, fried veg and pickles
D: will need to check out fridge/freezer/cupboards
Syns: I'll pass on that until later but none until this evening.

    Thanks for the welcome.

The class was ok, bit too noisy for me (I struggle to hear well in noisy places sometimes) and I'm not the most sociable person as I'm shy. But I was made to feel welcome.

day 1 yesterday was good, despite having to have lunch out with my mum. Had a jacket spud with beans.

Can I just check something, my consultant said the SW app had a food diary but it appears to only have a syn checker and to record your syns only?

I am glad I have had the website so far but 5 months down the line of doing SW I find myself using it less and less. The recipes and syn values I could get from doing internet searches and I cannot justify paying for it just to be able to order cook books.

I did similar and subscribed online ( along time ago) and got enough info to carry on by myself. I know some things do change but I have an excel spreadsheet with Syns of all the things on that I eat on a regular basis and google for anything new. I have got a few books such as Curry Feast in hard copy and others in Kindle versions from:

Well, things went awry yesterday. BUT it's a new month now and a better one...

B - Didn't fancy anything as I ate loads yesterday :( Refuse to force myself to eat but managed two cups of tea and a litre of water

D -Finally a bit ish so having some savoury rice, then an apple, two kiwis and some pineapple.

T - Unsure yet as can't really think when I'm not hungry. Probably a SW mushy pea curry, soup or bolognese out of the freezer that I can defrost as and when I fancy it. I have loads of potatoes and veg, eggs, salad, pasta and rice in so loads of free options.

    HEXA - Milk in tea
HEXB - Benefit bars I think, trying to have a bread-light week.

Syns - Not sure I need any after this week, will try and have 5 as recommended, a hot chocolate later and maybe a couple of extra light laughing cows, which I can eat like sweets as I love savoury options...

Gonna stick to WI on Sat going forward as it complicates things less so I'll put my wee gain back up tomorrow and WI after 9 days. Although I'm at the seaside next Fri so I might be carrying a chippy baby
