Hi Felicity,
In my group they gave us the password for the app in the first week and once you have started the app it continues to work. So you could go and join to get the password and then not go back.
I can't speak for the app but I know that if you don't weigh in at group for several weeks (not sure how many as I haven't risked it) then you can't access the site any more. I'm a target member so I only go to WI when I can and I got a warning message once when I'd not been for a while. Also a question for fellow target members- I always make sure I have a HEXA and HEXB every day. Do I need to up them now I'm at target or will what I'm doing suffice? My Mum is a long term target member who only has one of each every day but she does struggle with staying in her target range.
You should be given some sort of leaflet for target members MrsR and that suggests maintaining by upping the HEXs. Personally I prefer extra syns:D. Does your mum find she falls below target range? That has happened to me in the past but generally I have extra syns when eating out or a treat meal at home at the weekends then follow the plan the rest of the time. I eat big portions too. I don't think that matters if you're eating the right things plus (unlike me:o) you're having loads of exercise. Would you mind if you lost a bit more?0 -
My MIL commented that I'd lost weight last night. Kind of brushed it off! She doesn't see me quite as often as some people so probably not surprising she was first, but still made me uncomfortable. At some point I guess I'll tell people I'm doing SW but I'd like to lose some more weight first.
She then told us how she was going to start doing the Cambridge diet. It's all booked so I didn't think there was any point trying to plug SW instead! I think the 1-1 consultant may be helpful to her but I don't feel any diet where you are basically doing meal replacements for long periods is sustainable. I do hope it helps her though.

Slimming World ~ trying to get back on the wagon...0 -
Fingers crossed I get a 0.5 lb los tonight to get my 6.7 stone certificate - not feeling like it is likely though especially after that Burger King..................
Went to the gym last night for an hour, then went on a long walk with a friend, then went home and did my flat belly workout with dumbbells.
I am turning into a machine!:eek:0 -
I'm calling today's menu Green, as the chilli only has the smallest amount of mince in it (its the left over bolognese from last night), with lots of veg and kidney beans.
B: 2 x wheatabix, ff yoghurt. Tea with milk.
L: Mushy pea curry with salad. HM Skinny latte. AppleChilli with brown rice. Banana. Tea with Milk.
S: Freddo (5 syns)
Syn bank: 47
Feeling fed up and discouraged. Since starting SW I've lost 3lb then gained it back, sts and then put on another 2lb on holiday. I'm in danger of going up into the next stone again. I can only keep on going because even on the low carb diet I was following before my weight had plateaued hence the change to SW. I'm just hoping to lose the holiday weight this week. I really don't want to go back into bigger clothes.
Meant to ask: I saw mentioned yesterday gingerbread green tea can anyone tell me where you can get this as it sounds nice. I've been using the flavoured freeze dried coffee from Sainsbugs, so think I might like the green tea too.Weight loss 0/2st

Hi All
I am back (came back mid-July but have had a pretty full on 2 weeks) so not had a minute. First WI after 2 weeks all inclusive & I stayed the same. WI last Monday I had gained 3lb !!!!!!??!!! I know I didn't put that on, I was expecting a 1lb gain as had been out at the Commonwealth Games on the Saturday then Edinburgh for lunch & cocktails with the girls on Sunday but 3lb????!!! So I am firmly in need of a kick up the bahooky & jumping back on the wagon, I was so angry on Monday after WI that I just thought sod it & ate rubbish!
I am going to try a few sucess express days to try get back on an even keel, I also batch cooked at the weekend so have 3 weeks all planned (well main meals anyway). Also going to drag out the dreaded cross trainer again each night as cant get much walking done due to hubbys shifts.
SE Day
B - Kiwi, banana, toffee muller
L - Tuna pasta, (1 syn for mayo) large salad, melon, vanilla muller
D - Gammon Steak, veg, melon
HEA & HEB will use later for roasted cheese for supper with strawberries
Drinks - 2 x coffees (1 syn), 1 green tea, 600ml water.:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Hi all
Well done all the loses. It was my weigh in last night and i gained 1lb. This was kind of expected as I had 2 days where I had 25 syns and if I go over I seem to gain. Any way looking forward I would like to loose 7lb in the next 2 weeks so i hit my club 10 before I go away for my holiday.
So for today I had packed a really good lunch and snacks and the left that at home. So last minute dash to sainsburys on the way to work my menu for today is as follows
B- FF yogurt and grapes
L- Innocent pot (think about 5 syns) will check before I eat it.
D- Jacket potatoes with Tuna and lighter than light Mayonaise (4 syns)
Snacks at work will be grapes and a HEB roll
Snacks at home with be more super free and maybe a muller light as well as home made lolly0 -
Great to see macpep and mildredd back!:)
Thought of you only yesterday mildredd, when I was reading an article about gall stones in SW magazine.
durham-min, holiday gains are much harder to take when you're still trying to lose. Just keep plodding along and you'll get there.
crabapple, I didn't tell anyone about SW for ages. Then some people started to get genuinely concerned (asking if weightloss was deliberate) so then I started to tell a few close friends and family. Now I tell anyone who asks!
I'm having a stressful morning. Picked up my car from garage, paid the £725 bill (BIG GULP), drove home, parked up. Went to go back out to WI and wouldn't start!! Now waiting for garage to pick it up! lush, you're better off walking!!;)
I've checked and there is a group quite near me I could go to this evening. I'll probably just weigh and go. I need to know how I'm doing.
My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: probably LO chicken casserole (minus chicken)liver, onions, carrots, mash, peas, cabbage
Syns: squirt of syrup, gravy0 -
Afternoon all
Today might be the first time I go over 15 Syns. Going out this evening for the first time in months and although I am planning on having a chicken and bacon salad there is bound to be dressing on it. I am also craving a bag of crisps (TOTM) so am giving in to the urge. Menu today:
B - Fruit and FF yoghurt
L - Sandwich on wholemeal bread with lean ham, egg, leaves and a Laughing Cow light cheese triangle. 25g bag crisps.
D - Chicken and bacon salad
Snacks - Fruit
Drinks - Water, tea, coffee and I'll have diet Coke tonight. Really hope I've got the willpower to resist the delicious food on the menu tonight!
Syns - 120 -
Well, my birthday weekend meant +2.
However, considering what I put away, I have got off incredibly lightly, considering I had over a week's worth of syns at the weekend alone and have been out for food and drinks for the last two days
Should be able to pull it right back this weekend as Top Boy is home from his week away and with me, so no weekend wine, and it's a huge rarity that I go over 7.5 syns in food alone.
Gonna attempt a few 7/7/7 days as well/ Always drink at least 2 litres of water a day so just need to be SF and syn conscious.
Today
B - Mushroom and pepper omelette and plum tomatoes
D - Deli box, carrot sticks, apple, kiwi fruit, benefit bars
T - Mushy pea curry and SW chips
2 litres of water and a brew so far.0
