Also ... for example, would I be able to instantly look up Waitrose Tzatziki and see how many syns are in it? Maybe from my phone?
Thanks again in advance, Felicity.0 -
Hi Felicity,
In my group they gave us the password for the app in the first week and once you have started the app it continues to work. So you could go and join to get the password and then not go back.
If you are thinking of joining online, I would consider the postal membership as that way you would get the magazines. I presume you would also get the passwords but don't know for sure. Maybe a postal member could tell you.
With the app, you can find the syn value of most things. Waitrose cool and minty tzatziki dip is 1 syn for one level tablespoon by the way.24.06.14 12 st 12 lb (waist 45" at fattest part of belly)
7.10.14 11 st 9 lb
26.02.15 12 st 5 1/2 lb
27.05.15 11 st 5.6 lb
4.8.17 11 st 1lb
Target weight: 10 1/2 stone0 -

That's really helpful ... thank you.
And thank you for the tzatziki dip info. It sounds as if it is worth going along to a meeting to get the password then ... thank you very much.0 -

Evening all
it seems like it's been a very long day today! I was up early to go to the gym but it feels like I haven't had much superfree today!! I haven't done badly but it just feels like I haven't! Also a question for fellow target members- I always make sure I have a HEXA and HEXB every day. Do I need to up them now I'm at target or will what I'm doing suffice? My Mum is a long term target member who only has one of each every day but she does struggle with staying in her target range. I stopped doing Green as I would inevitably gain because I was eating extra HEX's.! I am 2lb under my target weight and another problem I've found is my appetite is enormous! My portion sizes are shocking and my Mum reckons that's why I've stopped losing. I'm going to the gym four times a week though and I'm always ravenous after that- I'm trying to eat good stuff though.
Today's menu:
B: Sausage sandwich- made with Linda McCartney Rosemary and red onion sausages and HEXB Ryvita, with Flora Light (2 syns) mango chunks, NAS cordial
L: baby salad leaves, pastrami, sliced gherkins. Cheese twist (2 syns) Frappucino with HEXA milk.Melon chunks and Mullerlight.
T: Mushy pea curry made with curried beans (1.5 syns) uncle Ben's golden veg rice (2.5 syns) tesco everyday value orange Ice lolly (1 syn)
Supper: steamed mixed veg, banana
Drinks: NAS cordial, water
Syns: 9
Body magic: 1.5 hour yoga class, 4.3 mile walk
Hope everyone's ok x*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Yes, when you are at target Mrs R you gradually increase your A's & B's so you dont continue to loose weight.
Hope this makes sense.
I am having a week or so off plan.

Not in a good place tummy wise at the moment and don't know why
Food today:
B - ReadyBrek, honey (2), coffee
S - coffee
L - salad, beetroot, noodles, beans, balsamic dressing (2)
S - coffee
T - mushy pea curry, fried new pots, oil
HEA - milk
HEB - ReadyBrek, oil
Syns - 4
The only thing I can think of is the garlic infused in the oil as garlic is on the FODMAP avoid list and a know trigger. According to FODMAP infused oil is ok but then so is the melon I had and that was agony.
Mental note then, no melon or garlic anythingIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
