Have found a brilliant little shop by the Norfolk gluten free company that sells all sorts of free from stuff ie gluten/wheat free, dairy free etc. They do REAL tiger bread, and it's very yummy
. They also do a rice porridge which I'd like to give a go, my problem is, is it a free food or could I use it as HEB? Any ideas?
Sorry love, no idea why melon should cause this effect, its not a particularly acidic fruit. Cant find any thing on sins on line about rice porridge, post the brand, or recipe and we can try and look it up.Slimming World at target0 -
Evening
I have lost another 1.5lb this evening. I will post again on Saturday, although I am not sure if I am on the list. This follows the 2.5 I lost on Saturday morning as I went to a different meeting last week
Keep going everyone.

I have IBS as well as food intolerances which I am slowly working out which foods I am intolerant to. Seems melon is one.
Not sure the brand of rice porridge will be on SW website. Think its a new company that does the free from stuff. Will try and find the pic.
The brand is called Delicious Alchemy. Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

There's a white gluten free bread that's 2 slices for a HEB (from 400g loaf) and a cereal that's 35g on the HEB list. Then oats are 5 syns for 25g or flour 4.5 for 25g. Obviously they're not that specific brand but worth a try if it helps your poor tum.0 -

The original plain sachet is 4. 5 syns and then they go up a bit with added things to a maximum of 6. Let me know if you want me to look up specific flavours.:)0 -

Had a look on the SW website and on EE gluten intolerant members are allowed 35g of any gluten free cereal as HEB - I would assume that as you seem to be gluten intolerant that you would be able to have the rice porridge.
Haven't decided what I'm eating today yet so back later once I've decided. I know my evening meal won't be what I have on my monthly plan as we've been invited to a BBQ!

Thank you mamam , I will be going down to Tesco later and get a couple of boxes. Was thinking earlier I could have the Ready Brek for breakfast and slice a banana on top.
If I get flavoured ones will post which ones later0 -
Some great losses going up, well done everybody!!
Got to go stock up on salad at Tesco this morning. And milk, so my usual bran flakes are out for breakfast. Might go with alpen lights instead just so I'm not hungry for the shop and end up buying all the bad things!
Salad for lunch, going to make a cottage pie type thing for tea with loads of extra veg and quorn mince. Will HEA some cheese in the mash on top to make it a bit more exciting. There's a chance my MIL and BIL are staying for tea so need to make sure we have plenty of food available if I need portions for 4.5 rather than 2.5 (the .5 being my toddler).:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls
