Some great bargains meg.:T very envious!
I checked and that milk is half a syn for 100 ml compared to 2.5 for SS or 875ml for a HEA. That's for the fresh one. The original version is a bit more synful. Let us know how you get on with it as I'd love to free up some HEA for cheese. I wonder can you cook with it? I'm thinking cheese sauce?
Maman copied this from their website
Can Almond Breeze® be used for baking and in recipes?Almond Breeze® can be used in just about any recipe calling for traditional cow's milk. It can be used in baking, soups and sauces, as well as heated up for hot drinks, etc.I had it on Weetabix this morning and its really nice, thinking to try making a rice pudding with it.

I lost track with the old thread and the challenge but found you all again here :T
I have had a mixed few weeks. This last week hasn't been great, I've really struggled but generally its being going ok and I'm still feeling positive.
I hope everyone is keeping ok x0 -
Morning everyone.
Just checking in to say hello. Missed WI last week as I was out. Will get to it tomorrow tho. Hoping for a sts as have had a week majorly off plan for one reason or another. Determined to be more on plan, and hopefully see the numbers decreasing again. Have pretty much maintained for the last 4/5 months, so know it's going to need more effort.
Delighted to see the great progress of the rest of you here. Have only been able to read back thru the last 3 pages or so.
Keep plodding! One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Morning everyone
Interested to read about almond breeze milk might give it a go, thanks OP
Well two milestones for me, yesterday bought a pair of size 16 shorts, considering I was size 24 in December, I am chuffed to bits.
Then this morning had a sneak peek on my scales and I've gone under the next stone, I'm now 14 st 13.2lbs and I was 19 12.5 lbs
Soooo happy
But....I'm filling with a little dread as I'm off to Brugge on Wednesday for a few days and I know I'm going to gain. Should I just eat using moderation etc and have normal syns between now and then or use flexi syns and have no syns mon/tues and then none on Sunday/Monday on my return
What have others done?0 -
Morning everyone,
Still fighting with the black dog - taking one day at a time - but it is really doing my head in.
Trying to be extra good from now til thurs after a Chinese on Saturday night.
I too am wary of having too much fruit and find I go through phases of eating lots of it to not very much at all.
I need 0.5 lb this week to get my 6.7 stone certificate - fingers crossed but I'm not certain I'll get it after losing the last couple of weeks I'm def due a sts.0 -
Not seen lush for a bit, I know she had a holiday planned. Maybe she's gone already.
I'm here
It was my birthday Friday so I've been spoilt the past few days - a trip to Chester Zoo on Friday after a breakfast of American style pancakes, the picnic was lovely too and a lower syn tea. Saturday was chocolate cereal for breakfast and a big BBQ in the afternoon for lunch/tea with prosecco and lemonade then yesterday was pancake breakfast, a trip to the local with a small rose wine and a can of fanta and a curry for tea! phew exhausting just thinking about it all
Today isn't much better to be fair; I've had a non HE cereal for breakfast, will probably have my left over curry for lunch and then sort something for tea (salad or something) though I do have my driving test today - eep! (if i pass I'll be having a fruit beer and may drive somewhere to pick up something for tea hehe) We go on holiday on Friday and I'm highly doubting I'll be 12st or less by then nowPlanning a lot of body magic on holiday (walking, swimming etc) so hopefully I can skate by with a STS though I will eat SW friendly for any meals out and as much as possible...I can but hope!
Back on it tomorrow though as I will be off to the market to grab some fruit and veggies; what ever we don't eat before we go will go with us as we are staying in a caravan so self catering (got lots of SW friendly extras to take with me already incl free soft drinks/squash and HeB options)
Struggling in the crazy heat as I'm still finding it hard to drink things, especially cold drinks, and until yesterday we didn't have any jubblys so I've had a few ice creams etc over the past few days
Trying to be confident that I will lose this weight (even if it takes longer than before) and I should pass my driving test (will make life a lot easier and then I can buy in plenty of SW friendly food at once rather than running out midweek and struggling to get any more in!)************************************

There is a white bread (high fibre I believe) that's a HEB. Hopefully others can advise what it is and it's called.
Kingsmill Great White is the white bread that can be used as a HeBIt's not too bad actually; bf and I quite like it and it makes a welcome change from wholemeal every so often too!
