Hi all, got back from hols late last night and have just read back thru 10 pages! Didn't go overboard foodwise but had some lovely treats including two ice creams and a piece of cheesecake. Haven't weighed myself yet, may do tomorrow purely as a guide for the coming week. The break from plan and having treats has done me good as now I'm raring to go again. Hopefully the extra syns will have stimulated my metabolism and will get the weight loss moving again. I made mushy pea curry for the first time tonight but 'tweaked' it. I used one can of mushy peas and 2 of marrowfat peas. I decided if I couldn't taste the mushy peas next time I make it I will use two tins. Anyway I LIKED it, so will use more mushy peas next time together with extra curry powder.

    Today's Green Menu:

B: Strawberries, blueberries, shreddies (B1) & ff greek yoghurt. Coffee with milk.
L: Noodles. Plum & Nectarine. Tea with milk.
D: Mushy pea curry, J. Pot. 2 Alpen lights (B2). SF Lemonade.

Snack: Freddo (5 syns), Tea with Milk.
    Syn Bank: 10

Did quite a bit of walking on hols so plenty of BM
    Weight loss 0/2st
    Inch loss = 0"

    Slow & Steady 3

I think I asked you before about your plan as I got confused with your HEXs.

I think your plan is Green (as you've synned some chicken) but if so aren't you short of HEXs so why not do EE? Is it because you're a bit low on SFs?

Saturday I only see HEA milk for your cereal and HEB chicken and Sunday HEA milk and HEB cheese.
Thanks Maman :) Sorry I must've missed you asking me about which plan before (and I should include it on my posts, will do from now on), but you're right, I do green as I don't ever have enough SF for EE (not really a big fan of veg except for a few silly things like peas, onions & mushrooms).

I didn't think that I had to have 2 HEB & HEB per day on green just that I could have.

Wasn't sure about the singapore chow mein on Saturday so synned it same as chicken chow mein in the books, though perhaps I could've counted less syns and counted in a HEB for the meat in it?

I did have 2 HEA milk today & on making my baked spuds I used 2 HEBs on cheese (posted too early about dinner haha).

Gave making the SW mini quiches a bash this afternoon and they turned out grand, so I'll be having 2 off those with some salad for my lunch tomorrow.

Well I've bitten the bullet and signed up for the online thing. I was reluctant due to the cost but when I thought about it I'll probably save what it has cost, and more, by not eating junk and drinking wine.

It seems like a huge amount to learn at the moment, a bit daunting. I've looked through the food lists and picked out things that I usually eat anyway to add to my shopping list for tomorrow. I think I'll start with the stuff I'm familiar with and try different things each week.

No doubt I'll make a few mistakes along the way, but onwards and upwards...

Many apologies if it came out wrong, I meant you'd probably explained it before and I forgot the answer.:o

You're right, you don't HAVE to have 2 of each HEXs on Green if you don't want to. As I'm a bread and cheese lover, I always assume that if I was doing Green I'd have them just because I could. :)

P.S. Also meant to ask if you have Coco Pops because you're using them up because there are other chocolate cereals that count as a HEB.

Not seen lush for a bit, I know she had a holiday planned. Maybe she's gone already.

Good to see you back and raring to go durham-mim. I know how you feel. I may be odd but I actually miss veg when I'm on holiday. Restaurants seem to serve very mean portions, definitely not the third+ that I'm used to.

Oh gosh, no need to apologise, I thought that you'd already asked me in a previous post and that I had missed it and not answered you - apologies if my post came across wrong :(

Ah see I love white bread (prob too much lol) but I don't think many of the bread options are worth the HEB tbh & anytime that I've had a nimble sandwich I've still felt hungry, so I'm just trying not to bother with bread.

Yeah I've a box of coco pops to use up and am the only one who eats them, but I'll just have them at the weekend for breakfast with some fruit. I had thought about having 2 frylight fried eggs with beans for breakfast at the weekend but I just don't think I could stomach them before lunchtime :) I think if I remember rightly from the last time I did SW that I can have chocolate wheetos or choc weeabix minis?

I see some Coco Shreddies and various Weetabix with chocolate on the list. Maybe something to think about when all the Cocopops are eaten up.

There is a white bread (high fibre I believe) that's a HEB. Hopefully others can advise what it is and it's called.

Good morning everyone, nothing to report today the finger on the scales keeps hovering between 11 and just below so perhaps it,s just half ??
I can honestly say I have'nt been totally exact this weekend, I have had a homemade scone and a bit of Parkin and not been quite exact with my milk. Do I have to have the full amount for Hex A I have'nt been doing. Also one day I did'nt feel like a meal at tea time 'cause it was so hot, an I had cereal with very cold milk on it and some fruit just as though it was breakfast. So, I am drawing a line under this last week and starting afresh.
I only really grumble when I know I have stuck to the plan and not lost anything. A brand new week !!
