Day from hell today. Staff calling in sick. Then a lovely rescue dog we got 3 weeks ago attacked my other dog with no warning breaking his rib and causing quite a lot of blood. Cannot risk it happening again due to having a little boy so had to take him back to the rescue. Broke my heart, he had been perfect up until that to, really fitted in to the family. Then I had a job interview and lots of work needed doing.

Food wise today has been a write off.

    Breakfast 2 x ryvita, 2 x lcl, watermelon
    Lunch - a chunky kitkat!
Tea - BBQ - lots of meat sausages, kebabs, burger (sausages and burger not lean ones) jacket pot, peppers, onions, mushrooms.

Snacks- apple, activa 0 fat yohurt.

Once again not had enough milk for HEA and syn wise its off the chart.

    Tomorrow has to be better!

Oh dear, sounds awful, poor you
Draw a line under it and start fresh tomorrow x

Didn't even realise there was a link on the first page! Have just tried it and it's not just the ipad as it didn't link on my laptop, however if you click on the Healthy Extra link it actually takes you back to one of the old SW threads and if you click the recipe link in that one it actually works! HTH.

Beanie - I know you were hoping for a loss but take the positive with your STS - it wasn't a gain:T.

Today's not going to be particularly SW friendly as we're going away for a long weekend and I've got a lot to do today including going to the Drs in town not my local surgery (16 mile round trip!) for an injection into my frozen shoulder. DH is finishing work at lunchtime so we can get an earlier than usual start to the weekend.

B - scrambled eggs on toast; banana
L - will grab some fruit to eat on the way - so will probably be starving by this evening as I'm used to a proper lunch these days, LOL
D - Lamb tagine (LO which I'd frozen a couple of weeks ago) with couscous

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - weekend wine

Most meals over the weekend will be SW friendly apart from Sat night when we're going to eat out in the local pub. I've had a look at the menu online and there isn't really anything which looks SW friendly! Looks like absolutely everything comes with chips!!! I'm hoping there will be something I can have with some new boiled potatoes or a jacket.

Will stick to SW where I can and try to be careful where I can't!

Probably won't get online over the weekend so back Tuesday morning!

    Have a good weekend everyone.

    Morning all,

    Just had my breakfast

Toast with scrape of peanut butter, I love it so to me its worth the syns
Lunch will be salad of some kind
    Dinner steak salad and pasta

I'm another one whose not really hungry, think its a a combination of Totm and the warm weather.
I need to do an Aldi shop today and going out with dh to price some work this morning as it's in a lovely spot
Yesterday we pulled all my daughters stuff out of the loft as she moves into her new house on Saturday. It was so hot:eek: and of course because we were up there I ended tiding and sorting and going to the tip. I sweated buckets and also lots of aerobic exercise
Tomorrow is helping her move so lots of exercise but not sure what will happen food wise. Hopefully it will be lovely weather.
Anyway have a lovely healthy happy day x

  • Hi everyone I need a little assistance please. I joined SW 19 months ago now and have been at target for about 9 months but have tried to lose more weight withought success for the last 3 or 4 months. (Ideally I'd like to be 7lb lighter). Anyway for some reason the weight has started to come down again and I've managed to hit my lower limit on my target weight.
What I would like to know is if I reset my target to what I would like to be and then decide it doesn't suit me when I get there, can I then revert to my original higher target or would I have to leave SW which I don't want to do.
I would normally ask in group but won't be back there for a couple of weeks so would appreciate some assistance

Hollie - it shouldn't be a problem resetting your target higher if you decide that the lower weight is too low for you. I had to increase my target after several months as it was too difficult to stay within target and also because my GP told me she didn't want me to be below a weight which was 1/2 stone higher than I was.

Best to have a quiet word with your Consultant to discuss when you go back to group.

    Hi All,

I have another question - my wife attends a group and follows the Extra Easy plan.

Hopefully, following the plan will result in a weight loss.

However, what happens when the weight loss stops ? (I assume that it will stop at some point as you cannot continuously lose weight).

If this happens before you reach your target weight loss, at this point do you change to a different plan - i.e. eat different foods, or less of the same foods ?

I am just trying to get my head around the concept as I couldn't find this in what I have read (although I may have misunderstood).
