    Morning all

Went to group last night and lost a massive for me 5lb so chuffed. I did the SAS log and this really worked for me. Also I hit my 1 stone last night as well

    B - Peaches and satsumas
L- Cous cous, ham and salad (just checked at the Cous Cous I bought earlier this week is 5 Syns EEK)
D - Mushy pea chicken curry

planned snacks are banana. cucumber, celery and a mint club (5 or 6 syns).

Also could someone please explain how the slimmer of the week is chosen?

HEX A and HEX B I might have a nice cheese roll later.

    Hiya
You have put your loss in red which I presume means you want to be part of the challenge but I don't have you down. If you do can you give me your goal for end of August please and weight loss since 1st July
    Thanks

Well another hot one today feel like I am melting, had a cool shower after lunch to try and cool down but need another one now.

Have a quick question, I have a few bottles of crisp and fry oil which will need using up but I tend to use frylight and an airfryer now. I was wondering about putting some in a spray anyone know how many syns a couple of sprays would be please.

Hi Lauri, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but if that's the Piri Piri chicken & rice ready meal it's 7 syns.:( I suppose it must have oil in it.

Hi Maman thanks very much for checking for me but I don't think it's the same one. The one I had was this one. If you get a chance would you mind doing me a huge favour and checking this one (might need to do it by the values, not sure?), I'd really appreciate it :D If you can't check, no worries.

    Today has gone like this
    B - Melon & mullerlight
L - chicken sandwich & a small square of birthday cake (gave in to temptation here :( )
D - Grilled lamb (HEB), baked potato & cheese (HEA) & Salad

Drinks: 1 cup of tea (milk from HEA & 1 sugar) & a few glasses of NAS squash

No more syns for me today as my sandwich & bit of cake is most likely well over the 15! Sure, tomorrow is a new day :)

    Hi all.

Well a lovely (sweaty) day was spent soaking up the Commonwealth Games atmosphere. If any of you get the chance, get down to the live venue at Glasgow Green - and there's loads of stuff to keep the kids amused.

    Thursday's Eats
Breakfast: fruit 'n' fibre, strawberries, ff yogurt
Lunch: (in town) lemon & piri piri chicken skewers, salad, chips, onion rings and coleslaw
Dinner: chicken salad hexb sandwich with pesto mayo
Snack: ice cream - vanilla & irn bru flavour, cherries

Still got hexa (as usual, it seems); don't know what I'll do with it tonight.

    Keep plugging, everyone.

So far have lost nearly two and a half stone since March by following SW on my own and getting the magazines as I found organised weigh ins used to stress me and send me to food.

I hope to lose four stone by DDs wedding next Feb but according to BMI should be five stone down - sigh. At least am about five pounds from getting to overweight rather than obese which is something.

    Hugs to all.

Much more than "something".....losing 10% of your body weight has been proven to give you all sorts of health benefits so be loud and proud. Well done :)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I've tried but I've never used the calculator before. What comes out for me is 11 syns:eek: for the whole pack. Perhaps someone lese will have a go.

Hi Maman, no I don't make I just get it in jars already pickled.

Oooh, where d'you buy that? I've only seen it in jars of mixed pickles at Christmas.

Cross with myself today. Opened a jar of grilled peppers from Aldi but (unlike the jar from Lidl) they're in oil! Will eat/cook with sparingly and make note not to buy them again.

SW is making me cook from scratch a lot more which is really good.

The issue I've got now is that I don't do recipes. Never have, don't like being told what to do! Creative cooking, that's what happens in my kitchen - bung things in a pan and so long as you stick to stuff you like it's bound to taste okay.

    However, it is free!

I think we all adapt things. I do follow occasional SW recipes but mostly I cook what I've always cooked and make it SW friendly - that's the bit that matters.

Sorry meg can't really help with the Crisp and Dry. The made up spray is half a syn for 1 or 2 sprays or otherwise 2.5 for a tsp or for 7 a tbsp.

Day from hell today. Staff calling in sick. Then a lovely rescue dog we got 3 weeks ago attacked my other dog with no warning breaking his rib and causing quite a lot of blood. Cannot risk it happening again due to having a little boy so had to take him back to the rescue. Broke my heart, he had been perfect up until that to, really fitted in to the family. Then I had a job interview and lots of work needed doing.

Food wise today has been a write off.

    Breakfast 2 x ryvita, 2 x lcl, watermelon
    Lunch - a chunky kitkat!
Tea - BBQ - lots of meat sausages, kebabs, burger (sausages and burger not lean ones) jacket pot, peppers, onions, mushrooms.

Snacks- apple, activa 0 fat yohurt.

Once again not had enough milk for HEA and syn wise its off the chart.

    Tomorrow has to be better!
