    Afternoon everyone
Well, I did make an amazing homous yesterday which along with some veggies was very nice but.... I did have a few crisps and quite a few peanuts and several glasses of wine about a bottle tbh
I was really shocked how full I felt at the end of the evening, it was really uncomfortable
This morning I've not eaten yet, not because I over indulged but because I'm still so uncomfortable I'm not hungry, I have had several bottles of water though
I will have a banana in a bit with some yogurt and hopefully a walk later will put me right
I'm just cooking a SW quiche for the weeks lunches and a big batch of Greek lamb with orzo pasta for dinners ( my fav from all in one cookbook)

Ok so here is the chart, please don't shout if I've missed you off or got it wrong, it's not the easiest of things to do as you scan through for red posts and miss what people have been saying so I'm sorry I don't reply much about individual comments
Mummy Roy can you let me have your goal and total loss/ gain please as I have a mummy of 2 on chart but I'm not sure it's you tbh
Please let me know if everything is right/ wrong and I'll change it today
I'm off to Brugge on the 30th so I will ask for all losses to be posted for that week on the Sunday 3rd Aug, hope that's ok

Sorry to hear your DH's been ill. You need to keep up your energy levels and eating well.:Ton sticking to plan.

That's very doable. Go for it!

Soon be school holidays tie (schools break up on Wednesday here). Then perhaps you'll get some mojo back and be able to plan.

I've had a lovely weekend but sadly has involved a couple of off plan meals/days. Yesterday I did my best at the tea party, avoided all cakes and puddings but did have some sandwiches and mini bhajis otherwise fairly SW friendly. Today I had a roast in the pub but there were SFs so it could have been worse.

Tonight we went to the cinema showing of Monty Python.....Always Look on the Bright Side of Life!:D

I suppose it depends on how much effort you want to put in. When I went to the nibble party earlier in the week I was happy with celery filled with Philly, pieces of melon, strawberries, grapes, cold chicken and crudites. You can make a very easy dip with yogurt and NAS mint sauce. Cold, low syn sausages are good for munching on too and a bit more substantial. Similarly wafer thin ham is good. I enjoy cold new potatoes but they may not be to everyone's taste.

That's my idea of a lazy way out but when we have tasting sessions at my group people make all sorts of lovely things e.g. you could make a frittata/crustless quiche and cut it in squares

Thanks for the ideas Maman, and thanks to Topgirl and Hostie too. These ideas are great, and not only for the BBQ season.

    Hi all

Really sorry I have not been on forum lately trying to catch up with everyone.

DH has been seriously ill and I have just not felt up to posting. Have stayed on plan and been losing each week even if only 1lb. He is getting some test results tomorrow so will know more about the prognosis.

Think we will have to cancel our 2nd honeymoon we have booked for the end of August (been married 35 years this year). His health comes first.

So sorry to hear this Outoffunds. I hope the prognosis is good (fingers crossed). Don't worry about your weight losses, but do try to eat healthily yourself so that you have the strength to look after hubby. (((hugs)))

There seems to be more than one person out there who's struggling at the moment, hugs and good wishes to you all. I saw this somewhere ages ago and kept it cos it makes me smile every time I read it.....been there so often in my life, but never again ;)

    Cry from the Heart

I'm trying very hard this time, I've so much weight to lose,
There is so very much of me, I'm not the 'me' I'd choose.
They say in every 'fatty', there's a 'thinnie' hiding there,
I've never seen my thinnie - I think I'm much too scared.

I'm thirty-five, attractive, (from the neck up only, mind),
And there's lot's of living to do yet, if only I could find
    A special strength inside me that will help me fight this flab;
To be bright and fit and active, and not fat and slow, and drab.

I'm aware of all the dangers being overweight can bring,
    And the problems we all suffer some the silliest of things;
The garden chair that is too small, the seat belt that’s too short,
The public loo that traps you - when you're in, that's it, you're caught!

Smart clothing, hair-do, make-up help me stop feeling bitter
But I feel that all my life has been a waste - I'm just a quitter.
The time has come to change this now, I want to be a winner,
I don't want to be a Beauty Queen, just a little thinner.

I need lots of help to do this, it's too hard for me alone,
I don't need to lose just pounds, for me the goal is several stone.
With your help, I will try, and as the months go by we'll see
That inside this dull, drab fattie is a new and happy me.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Have had a busy weekend at home (which in itself is unusual for me, LOL) and had visitors yesterday for dinner. Made a SW roast dinner which was a lovely roast lamb leg.

Today will be another EE day:

    B - porridge with banana - HEB
L - sweet chilli prawn noodles - 1.5 for sweet chilli sauce
D - LO roast lamb, SW chips, baked beans. Mixed fruit salad, yoghurt

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day

Not sure what other syns yet but will have some later.

I've used a total of 79 syns since Thursday's WI so have 26 left for today until Wednesday so definitely easily doable with 8-9 a day.

Morning all. Look after yourself outoffunds, and hope your hubby improves soon.

Thanks for the chart Annie! There's some great losses on there and those who have gained, it's only small amounts so try not to beat yourselves up and you can undo them :-)

Yesterday was not entirely to plan. Lunch went well until I saw the victoria sponge for pudding. We eat at my parents usually on a Sunday and I was going to refuse pudding but it looked really nice! Just had a tiny slice though. I tried to work out syns but decided not to worry myself over one treat and try to stay free for the rest of the day.

WI tomorrow, so going to be as strict as I can the next two days. I'm pretty sure I will have lost unless I go crazy now so that's a good incentive. I'm feeling thinner already and sure it is making a change to my shape - seem to have a bit more of a waist already!!
