What a great bargain Meg72, you jammy thing
Last time I got a haul like that it was baby clothes for the new Grandchild. I was delighted too but it wasn't what I went in there for and the plastic took a bit of a bashing
Well done Tazzyb on getting into those jeans. I'm so glad it helped renew your focus
Crabapple, commiserations on the broken night. I know what you mean about it being hard sticking to plan when you're shattered but be firm if you can and just write it off if you can't and get back on track tomorrow.
Lantanna. I quite fancy that fishcake you mentioned with lots of veg or salad, yum
Well done on the losses everyone. Fingers crossed for a good weekend :beer:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

What football's that?? I'm so !!!!!! off with my team at the moment that I've resolved to go to no pre-season stuff. Season ticket arrived today and I CBA to open it.Annie021063 wrote: »Having friends over tomorrow night and want to do some low/ free syn snacks

I suppose it depends on how much effort you want to put in. When I went to the nibble party earlier in the week I was happy with celery filled with Philly, pieces of melon, strawberries, grapes, cold chicken and crudites. You can make a very easy dip with yogurt and NAS mint sauce. Cold, low syn sausages are good for munching on too and a bit more substantial. Similarly wafer thin ham is good. I enjoy cold new potatoes but they may not be to everyone's taste.
That's my idea of a lazy way out but when we have tasting sessions at my group people make all sorts of lovely things e.g. you could make a frittata/crustless quiche and cut it in squares
I'm sure others will come along with good recipes.

Well done ladies
:T Well done everyone.
Thanks Annie for helping to keep us on track. Maybe beginners luck for me: I am amazed to find that I have lost 3lbs at the end of my first week. Woohoo!!
Thanks all for all the advice and support.
My plan so far for today is:
B: Porridge (HEXB) & 2 Teaspoons Maple Syrup (1 Syn)
L: Not sure yetSteak, SW Chips, Tomatoes & Mushrooms
HEXA - Milk in drinksMortgage
Start January 2017: $268,012
Latest balance $266,734
Reduction: $1,278.450 -
Free snacks:
Blitz up 2 tins of chick peas in blender with lemon and garlic for free hummous.
I like to have king prawns and smoked salmon in the house for picking at. You could put those on a plate for your friends or for a totally 80s vibe you could put the prawns on cocktail sticks with a pickled onion and some sliced low fat quorn sausages or linda mccartney rosemary and onion sausages.
All the above is free
Hope you are all having a good friday. I had a good day and a few glasses of wine tonight.24.06.14 12 st 12 lb (waist 45" at fattest part of belly)
