Well done everyone on the losses this week so far. I lost 2lb at WI last night so Im pleased with that!

I havent tried mushy pea curry either but I think I will at some point. At the moment its too hot for things like that so I have been having lots of cold meat and fruit and veg

My latest favourite treat is Tescos Finest Pink Lemonade ice lollies, you get 4 in a pack and they are 3.5 syns each. They are so delicious!

Dinner tonight - I've got some plain quorn fillets. I'm going to cook them in a tomato and veg sauce to give them a bit more flavour and get extra veg in. Should go nicely with some SW roasties and broccoli and carrots :)

:Ton more losses, especially as yours was unexpected lantanna. Loving the clothes talk. 3 years down the line I still get a thrill from not having to reach to the back for the bigger sizes!
I have planned again today as I feel I have better days when I plan

I agree with that 100% but I can see where lush is coming from about flexibility. I always have a few freezer meals on my meal plan for days when we're in a hurry or they get left in there for another day if our plans change.

Morning all, well done on the bargains Meg72.

    Green Menu:

B: Crunchy bran, banana & ff yoghurt. Coffee with milk.
L: Noodles, prawns & salad. Peach. HM Skinny Latte
D: Pasta Carbonara made with philadelphia light (5 syns) & LLCXL triangles x 2 (1 syn),. Banana.

Still got a HEB to use but not decided yet. May have more cereal later has need to use up yoghurt before going away.
    .

For Green I'd say the Bran and Prawns are the 2 x HEBs. The milk is one HEA (unless you're having loads) and the other could be used to offset some cheese in your dinner (some combination of 75g Philly Light or 6 Laughing Cows).

I'm analysing it because I'm planning something similar for my own supper! DH is out at an Indian Buffet lunch so he may/may not want something later. I could make a pasta dish just for me or double up the portions.

    My Green Plan:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: not hungry but could have fruit sack if I need it
D: carbonara with peas, mushrooms and courgette (Philly and scrape of parmesan).
Syns: Maybe some for cheese but hoping all can come under HEA. Might put some ham in as a HEB but I haven't done a shop yet.

Plus weekend wine (feeling virtuous as not had a drop since last weekend);).

Sometimes the losses come at the most unexpected times - so bear this in mind all you lovely people!! It does always come in even thought you

    Keep at it -

Just for reference I had a lovely lunch cooked for me today in work and here are the syns as I think it was just lovely as a treat - either separately or together as part of a meal sometime.

    M&S Coquille St Jacque - 5.5 syns
M&S Melt in the Middle Cheesy Fishcake - 6.5 syns

It was served with lots of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots and it was truly lovely and lovely to have something different. A friend cooked it for me as a treat - I am lucky lol.

I will def buy the fish cakes and have one of them as part of a meal with lots of free veg........... as it was lovely!

Thanks for that. My 2nd HeA is the skinny latte which I've just had for my lunch. Will not have the extra cereal if prawns are HeB2, will just have yoghurt & fruit.

I'm making the carbonara for 3 people, OH is doing SW too so may add his allowance of LCXL triangles to the mix too. He keeps all of his syns for his main meal so no problem there.

Hi everyone, so busy at work not had a chance to catch up with everyone or be on much:(

Holding on to the wagon by the skin of my teeth!

Today is EE (I think!) -

Breakfast - toast HEXB with banana, Muller Light

Lunch - smoked ham, tomatoes, red bell pepper and red onions, LOADS of pickled onions and pickled cabbage. Two nectarines

Dinner - need to do a tiny food shop so to keep me away from Chinese or Indian think it will be Extra Tasy cooked chicken from Asda with SW chips covered in paprika and my new favs I'm eating with everything brocolli and cauli:D

Eating from the freezer and cupboards is fine when saving money but everything I've found so far is quite high in syns and we're eating some odd meals:eek:

Also need to keep syns tomorrow night for my other new fav - gin and slimline tonic with loads of ice and lemon! With the electrical work started this week and carpets and floorboards up I might need a few to get me through the weekend:rotfl:

Have a good weekend all. Will try and get on over the weekend to keep me on track x
  • It is so encouraging to see all this weight loss! As a newbie it is really heartening to see the plan working.

    I've had another good day:

B - Oats, FF yoghurt, nectarines and a banana
L - Salmon fillet and salad with a little rice
D - Fillet steak with SW chips and oven baked veg.

HEX A - SS milk for drinks.

    Strawberries for snack.

    Not enough water!!

    Have a wonderful evening.

in a mega bad mood. Gas company owe me £1000 due to huge over payments on my monthly payment plan. I was promised the money would be in my account today and was all ready to book a holiday with it. Nothing hit my account so I have called them, the payment is pending to be authorised and it might hit my account on Wednesday. Raging!

Breakfast - puffed wheat, banana, skimmed milk, active 0 fat yoghurt
Lunch - mug shot, crab sticks 2 x apples.
Tea - not sure maybe take away, or some fish rice and salad.

Either way today I intend to use all my syns.

I think we are going to try the fish and chips from the new fakeaway book, have that with lots of syn free chips tonight :)

    The fakeaway book is ace!

Also need to have a proper look through that book that you get if you get slimmer of the week. My partner got the award last week but our consultant forgot to give him the book so we got it yesterday, hoping there are some nice summery ideas in there!
