Well done everyone, some good losses :T
Green day:
B - Banana. 2 chocolate Weetabix (HEB1 + 2 syns), raspberries, blueberries, unsweetened almond milk (part HEA1)
L - Baked potato, baked beans, cheese (HEA2). Plums
D - Chicken Jalfrezi (7.5 syns for small amount of chicken + some of the sauce??), basmati rice, wholemeal pitta (HEB2), green beans
Haggis crisps & maybe a glass of wine after being DD's personal chauffeur'A watched potato will never chit'...0 -
Ha Ha you're all comedians! Taking the micky out of my new whippets name! Anyway I'm just having Norman, as Stanley staying with his mum. I thought Rodney would be too stressed to be bombarded with 2 new friends so I'm just sticking to my original plan and having one. I nearly asked for three so it was a good job someone talked sense into me.
How about 'Be Awesome in Autumn with SW'? I think that's what we called it last year? Or maybe the year before??
Me and hubby always seem to work on the basis that once you've got one, more than that isn't really any extra work, just a bit of extra food...
That may explain the two occasions we've had 6 cats at one time. Currently only have the four. We like 'old man' names for animals too - currently have a Boris and we used to have a Colin.
Menu today:
Breakfast: Branflakes as per always, with milk
Lunch: Rice with veggies & beans (what I had left from stuffing the squash bumped out with some baked beans). 3 syns cos it was microwave egg fried rice.
Snack: will have a ff yoghurt and some fruit and probably an alpen light or two if I can't think of anything else for an HEB
Dinner: Salad & new potatoes probably with a bit of cheese
Probably will nick some of toddlers smarties to use a few syns!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

What suggestions has anyone got please re what to put with side veggies with dinner?
Usually, I either put a little butter on them or some fresh lemon juice and olive oil. I certainly wouldn't fancy them with nothing on them.
Welcome! I often use some syns to have butter on my veg. I just use a lot less than I used to - 10g goes a surprisingly long way and a reduced fat version is only 2.5 syns (on Green anyway).:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

I don't use a lot of butter but when we have corn on the cob or jacket potato I like a bit so I've swapped to Butterbuds now..

It may not be to everyone's taste and they are a bit expensive but it takes ages for me to go through a pack so I don't mind.
Not sure of syns but as they are 5 cals per packet I don't count them - they can't be much.Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

If your chicken Jalfrezi is from an indian you can have 350g serving for 8.5 syns on extra easy. If we have indian I usually have 350g chicken dhansak (6.5 syns), boiled rice (Free) and 1 poppadum (4 syns) and it feels like a real treat and within syns for the dayOfficially debt free :j0 -
I'm sharing a Lamb Rogan Josh (from Sainsbury's) with DH later. I had thought of going Green as there's not much meat in it. Just checked the syns: 7.5 for EE and 29.5 for Green:eek:
It would be so much easier if the syns online gave the HEX alternatives alongside the syns but they've even stopped doing it in the magazines now. I mean when they used to print things like if you made a recipe with cheese in it it would be x syns or fewer if you had the cheese as a HEA.
I'm not risking it.
I've just cut up a melon to snack on to make sure I get enough SFs for an EE day.;)0 -

Evening all,
I've got myself completely confused with the challenges at the moment can someone explain then I can join:o
I'm really going for it in September, October as I go on hols to Australia early November. I would love to be a stone lighter but we shall see. Just had a major trying on session and lots of clothes in the too big pile.
I've upped my exercise a lot. My dh is very into exercise weight lifting etc and has designed some exercises specifically for my arms. I hate em:eek: surely I'm not going to be the only person who got to goal and still have fat arms, they've got to go down, haven't they?.
Going to try and do the exercises every day for two weeks. He has promised I will see results. I'm also walking 3 or 3 times a week, which I love.
This has been a great week on plan for me and really hoping for a good loss on the scales on Tuesday.
A glass of wine and a small synned bag of popcorn this evening along with the new Swedish drama on BBC4 heaven, have a good evening all xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
Working hard to get rid of our debt.0
