    Evening all,

I've got myself completely confused with the challenges at the moment can someone explain then I can join:o
I'm really going for it in September, October as I go on hols to Australia early November. I would love to be a stone lighter but we shall see. Just had a major trying on session and lots of clothes in the too big pile.
I've upped my exercise a lot. My dh is very into exercise weight lifting etc and has designed some exercises specifically for my arms. I hate em:eek: surely I'm not going to be the only person who got to goal and still have fat arms, they've got to go down, haven't they?.
Going to try and do the exercises every day for two weeks. He has promised I will see results. I'm also walking 3 or 3 times a week, which I love.
This has been a great week on plan for me and really hoping for a good loss on the scales on Tuesday.
A glass of wine and a small synned bag of popcorn this evening along with the new Swedish drama on BBC4 heaven, have a good evening all x

How much do you have to lose to get to target?

Ok so we'll do 2 lots of 8 week challenges (that will finish 21st December)

So first challenge will start on the 1st September to the 26th October.. 8 weeks. Let me know your targets whenever, it's fine if you want to wait until this challenge has finished..

Annie, thank you for running the current challenge - you've done a grand job :T

    Here you go Julie :)

Went to ALDI today to take of £5 off voucher,so house restocked with lots of fruit and veg.
    Menu today was:
    Breakfast:1/2 banana,an apple,strawberry Muller light
Lunch:cumberland sausage leftover from the other night (1syn)
    fruit salad:grapes,strawberries,peach
Tea:SW chilli con carne.I used the SW recipe, except used "normal" onions ,not red, used tinned chopped tomato instead of fresh, and omitted the peppers.
    Whenever we have chilli,I serve with cheese(measured out tonight-15g),creme friache,(not sure of syns)and 30g Doritos(7.5syns).Delicious.............
Served with white rice, followed by grapes for dessert

If anyone knows the syn value of Cowbelle creme fraiche(reduced fat),that would be great to know.Cant find it in my book or online.

At ALDI today I bought a notebook to write down most used recipes, both those suggested on here(cos I spend alot of time scrolling through this thread saying to myself "Where was that lovely idea for a meal/recipe?",and those from SW website (before they tinker with the recipes again icon_rolleyes.gif ).

My 12yo daughter has been making a cake and cupcakes for her grandma's birthday tomorrow.I have done absolutely NO licking of bowls, and NO licking spoons :A.

Happy birthday Beanie, sorry to be so late, but just in time.
I hope you have had a lovely day.

I posted here yesterday but there is no post :( Must have had a dip in signal.

Despite trying hard I am still missing meals and most days only having breakfast and dinner. I deleted my phone reminders to eat when I was in USA as tired of explaining why I had numerous alarms going off. Maybe I should reinstate them...

My excuse for gaining 1lb is that I had a reaction to something and have had some spectacular swelling :D Things never run smoothly in the Pooh household.

Today, I have had 3 meals
B, porridge (HE B) plus milk (HEA)
    Banana, nectarines and pear
L, pizza on very thin base, HEA plus 5 syns
D, veggie sausage casserole, loads of veggies

Snacks, 1/2 glass of red wine 2 syns, dark chocolate 7.5 syns

Shala can I please join the new challenge, 8lbs for me please

I'd say you're about right with 1.5 syns for a tbsp. That's what basic half fat crème fraiche is listed as and the one they've listed for Aldi.

Welcome, shala will sign you up I'm sure.

    EE day planned for me:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, HEA milk, scrambled eggs
    L: savoury rice, melon
D: braised steak, onions, roast potatoes and parsnips, runner beans, cauli and broccoli
Syns: squirt of HP sauce, gravy (0.5!!) weekend wine;)

I bought some steaks last week and wasn't hugely impressed with them pan fried. Today I'm going to braise the rest with a Hairy Bikers' recipe. By swapping the oil for Frylight there's just 1tsp of cornflour (shared with DH) to thicken the gravy. I'll report back how it works.
