  • Morning all

Not been on for a couple of days. I've had a couple of very, very naughty days. Chinese on Thursday and Indian on Friday. I was back on plan yesterday and today though but still, if I get a STS tomorrow I'll consider myself lucky!

    Today's menu:

Breakfast - Porridge with strawberries and raspberries (eaten quite late in the morning)
Lunch - Not sure. Probably a fruit salad with a yoghurt
Dinner - Slow roasted lamb with SW roast potatoes and veg.

    Have a great Sunday!

    Evening all,

I've upped my exercise a lot. My dh is very into exercise weight lifting etc and has designed some exercises specifically for my arms. I hate em:eek: surely I'm not going to be the only person who got to goal and still have fat arms, they've got to go down, haven't they?.
Going to try and do the exercises every day for two weeks. He has promised I will see results.

Julie - any chance you could share the exercises please? I have / had very fat arms but now have bingo wings and hope to do something with them, but not sure what.

Well done on your loss slimwriter. :T

If your chicken Jalfrezi is from an indian you can have 350g serving for 8.5 syns on extra easy. If we have indian I usually have 350g chicken dhansak (6.5 syns), boiled rice (Free) and 1 poppadum (4 syns) and it feels like a real treat and within syns for the day

Thanks, tracey :) It was made at home using Ald1's Specially Selected Jalfrezi sauce. I actually weighed out just 35g of the cooked chicken for me, so think I sold myself short there!! The rest was onion, mushrooms & a small amount of sauce. I probably could have had more :o

Annie, the chart is brilliant :T

    Green day for me today:

    B - 2 chocolate Weetabix (HEB1 + 2 syns), banana, unsweetened almond milk (part HEA1)
    L - 4 scanbran (4 syns), 2 Philly Light pods (HEA2), tomatoes. Plums
D - veggie pasta, wholemeal pitta (HEB2), cheese (other part of HEA1), salad

I don't feel as if I will have eaten enough today, so may have a plain baked potato for supper.

I'm looking forward to joining the challenge tomorrow :D

Evening all. Was at mams today and thought it was going to be ok as she was making Curry, rice & veg bhaji, all SW friendly and much better than the usual sandwiches & cakes. However it went downhill afterwards. Mam said she had got cheesecake for dessert. I explained that OH and I don't do desserts anymore. However she had already defrosted the cheesecake, she lives alone and couldn't possibly eat it all herself. OH was ok as he'd just completed at 10K run which probably compensated for the extra calories/syns. If I have any tea I'm thinking of making a rice pudding with BD milk from my allowance and rhubarb with raspberries, so that it will be just about syn free.

Hi just the two if us

    I'm doing them every day.
I do three sets of dips on the edge of my husbands treadmill about ten inches of the ground so sit with your back to whatever ledge your using, heels on the floor, legs can be bent or straight, reach behind with your arms and with the heel of your hands on the ledge, lift yourself up and down using your arms. I'm doing three lots of ten to start. This works the triceps at the back of arm.
I'm also doing press ups but standing up in the kitchen, feet well back from the counter, lean forward onto counter and do a press up at an angle of 45degrees. I'm doing 3 lots of ten, hoping to increase as I go.
Finally I'm using little dumbbells, 5 lbs each to do bicep curls very controlled, keep your arms by your sides slowly up and down. I find these really hard again I'm doing 3 sets of ten, today I increased to 11
Hope that helps. I'm really hoping to see an improvement.

Hi,Annie.I can't see my name on the list, but not sure if I need to wait til the next challenge.Aiming to lose 11 lb by the end of the next challenge. That would take me back to my target weight :j

    My plan for today:
    Breakfast:1 apple,1 banana
    Lunch:bacon,poached eggs,fried tinned potato,beans
    PM: strawberries and grapes.
Tea will be chilli con-carne and rice, followed by fruit.
    Later tonight:2 Alpen bars.

Had a sneaky jump on the scales yesterday, and it looks like I had lost 2lb.Proper weigh-in tomorrow,so will see.
