  • Hi reporting a 1 & a half pound loss this week - which takes me to the 14lb I wanted to lose in this challenge - I am so very pleased.

Well done on this weeks loss and achieving your target just the two of us :T

quick flying visit as rushed off my feet.

3.3 off for me this week putting me soooo close to 4 stone off in total.

I will catch up with the thread on Friday.

    cheers

Fantastic loss tazzy - you must be really looking forward to receiving that 4st shiney ;)

Sorry for all the posts but I am just playing catch up with you all.

Tried the Speed Soup yesterday and I didn't mind it at all but DH kept saying that he didn't like it and complained that it was too tomatoey for him. I don't like tinned tomato soup but found this quite acceptable.

Had lunch at Mum's today - Salmon with a good amount of salad - unfortunately the plate also contained some of Auntie Bessie battered chips. Checked them after I ate them and found out they were about 2.5 syns for 100g - so they could have been worse. :o

Founds some lambs liver in fridge tonight with tomorrow's date so that's tomorrows evening meal sorted.

92 lbs gone .................6 lbs to go.................

Holy crap how did I ever get here!!

I remember you joining the thread, and all that doubt. Well done. :T

(ok so the multi quote thing has broken at this point so I am going from memory. If names are wrong, sorry...! )
    Crabapple - Rice Pud recipe
    1 pint cold water
    1/2 mug pudding rice
sweetener to taste (Leave this out if adding stewed fruit)

    Nutmeg
    2 tbsp vanilla essence (optional)
    Fat Free Vanilla Yoghurt.

Put 1 pint cold water into saucepan and add the rice. Cook for 15 to 20 mins.
Remove from heat and allow to cool before adding nutmeg, vanilla essence and sweetener. Add as much Vanilla yoghurt as you like to get your preferred consistency.

(I put mine in the slow cooker for 3 hours... nom nom nom. )

could you please put me down for a 10lb target in the challenge? Perhaps this will keep me focused - fallen off the bleeping wagon again today. *sigh*

Snagged a half price chicken in Tesco so thats dinner for Thursday. Sitting down tonight and planning the weeks grub out, - making the most of the Mirror's £5 off voucher at Aldi. Kids go back Tuesday, so organisation reigns supreme once again! :rotfl:

I think when I checked the chocolate weetabix the other day pink poppy I think it was 1.5 biscuits for hexb1 and it would be only 2 syns for the other 0.5 weetabix - that was on EE mind you.

Ooh, thank you for this, you have saved me 2 syns!! :D

shala, can I join the new challenge, please?? I think I'll try for 14lbs.

    Well done Bella :T

Well done Bella - the shinies do really help motivate and I'm sure I'm not the only one always aiming for the next one!

Really proud of myself today, eaten loads of free food including a mass of veg as salad and in a casserole, weighed and measured all my HEX foods and syns, stuck to plan 100% :)

All written down too so I can keep track.

Just got to keep this up until WI on Tuesday ;)

Strangely I haven't weighed myself today (normally at 3/4 times :() because I want to stick at it and see the improvement at WI. Let's hope I don't stick to plan like glue and only lose 0.5lb! I'll probably end up having to check progress at some point but I weigh myself in lbs so I can't immediately work out what it is going to be at group.
