I know the challenge is finishing on Saturday and don't want to cause confusion, but, when does everyone want to start the new one?

It's 16 weeks till the week of Christmas :eek: so we could do 2 8 week challenges but this would have to start week commencing 1st September (running until the 26th Oct)

Any thoughts, then let me know, i'm easy..

Two 8 week challenges would work for me, considering I fell off the back end of this one ages ago :(

I would *like* to lose 1st by 1st Oct when I go back to work (though I think that would need 4 weeks of SE!) then lose another
1st 1lb by Christmas to be back at target...now if everyone could give me a kick up the tush that would be great!

Today I am being as on plan as possible considering tea:

Breakfast: baby plum tomatoes and mushrooms done in fry light, 2 egg fried (great pan so no oil or anything needed) and 2 rashers of extra trimmed bacon grilled plus tea (milk from HeA)
    Snack: grapes and cherries
lunch: homemade vegetable soup with a Kindmill great white roll weighed to be my HeB
    snack: satsuma and cherries
tea: chicken en croute (asda ready to cook; not sure on syns but if I ignore the chicken being a free food it works out as 24 using 1syn per 20 kcals) with mash and veggies

HeA: milk in a few cups of tea
    HeB: kingsmill great white roll

I have some syn value requests if anyone can help? I appreciate this must be annoying and I can work off the 20kcal = 1syn but I'd like to be precise if possible:

    Asda chosen by you:
    lasagne topper 480g jar
    cheese sauce mix 50g
beef in ale casserole mix 32g
    sausage casserole mix 38g
    stroganoff casserole mix 37g

asda chosen by you classic comforts ready to cook:
    chicken en croute
chicken with cheese and ham crust
chicken with bacon, mushroom and cheese sauce

    asda bakery:
    american style pancakes

    colmans:
    chicken supreme mix (sachet) 38g
    white sauce mix 25g

    Maggi:
    lincolnshire sausage casserole mix 36g
cheesy chicken and leek potato bake 55g

    Iceland:
    curly fries

Still here hanging on by a thread this week - will take whatever tomorrow says on the chin!!

Still aching from body pump. I think I'm probably reasonably fit but have no strength at all - my arms are literally dead. There were people twice my size in the class and without being rude they certainly weren't toned but yet they are pumping away with much heavier weights - melt

On a PMT / Man Melt just for a change................

The positivity would need to return ASAP!!!

The One milk (purple top) is one syn per 50ml so on days like today when I'm having cheese, I syn 200ml which has done me two cups of tea and a splash in my eggs :)

Pretty on plan day yesterday, still clawing back syns. Although ended up using 8.5 yesterday as I had double quiche :o

B - Cheesy scrambled egg, mushrooms, HEXB toast, an Apple.

D - SW bacon, mushroom, pepper and onion quiche and salad. A cup of speed soup.

T - Salmon fillet, SW chips, carrots, cabbage, asparagus.

An options later puts me on 6 including milk.

An hour hacking in the garden for Top Boy and I later :)

    Enjoy your Wednesdays all!

    Morning everyone

I'm in for a new challenge! Drawing a line (again) at the woeful results of the last one and I'll have a working kitchen again next week so excellent timing :T

I'll go for 8lbs for the first challenge and take it from there.

So sick of microwaved meals and take aways, desperate for lots of fresh veg, salad and fruit! Even DS2 is moaning:rotfl:

Shred DVD is going to get a dusting and will revisit too. Only got halfway through it last time but did notice a difference (once the pain had gone and I could walk without wincing haha).

Away to catch up with you all, take care x

Used my milk allowance in a flat white this morning (was knackered and freezing) so had no milk for my cereal - would usually have FF yoghurt instead but didn't have any of that so mixed a tablespoon of muller light with water and poured that over my cereal and banana instead - surprisingly nice!

shala_moo - Unless things have changed rhubarb has syns once cooked. I don't like sweetener either, so I'd toss it in with some apples. Then add to some pudding rice (home cooked in the slow cooker) for a evening / after tea snack.

Thank you shala_moo and maman for help on the rhubarb. I always eat fresh fruit so didn't realise it had syns once cooked.

Swiped, For the rice do I just cook it in water? I love rice pud :) I haven't had any in about a year.
