Yes you can. That's no problem at all.

Hi reporting a 1 & a half pound loss this week - which takes me to the 14lb I wanted to lose in this challenge - I am so very pleased.
Thank you to Annie for keeping tabs on it and sorry I always forget to post on the weekend.
I am happy to go with whatever everyone wants to do. If it is 8 week challenge please put me down for 10 lb loss - now I am getting nearer to target it may be more difficult.
Does anyone use the fit log online - I am finding it really easy to keep track of my Gold award - only two more weeks to do until I achieve that.
Keep up the good work and I'll try to read back and get some more hints tips and motivation from you all - thanks so much for your support.July 16 £95/£200
Nov 16 £0/£200

Hi everyone, just popping in to introduce myself as I have started SW today.
My weigh day will be Friday but I've started today as I don't want to leave it another week. I am also going on holiday for two weeks on 5th September, but again, I felt I needed to start straight away!
I did SW about ten years ago and got to my lowest adult weight. I know that the plan has changed quite a bit now and I'm confident that I should be able to adopt the EE way of eating as a lifestyle this time.
I've been reading this thread for a while and you have all really inspired me. I think that's why I've decided to start straight away. There's always a reason to delay it otherwise isn't there?!

Couldn't be happier tonight:j:j
Fantastic loss this week Annie. Well done on getting your 5.5 shiney :TI know the challenge is finishing on Saturday and don't want to cause confusion, but, when does everyone want to start the new one?
It's 16 weeks till the week of Christmas :eek: so we could do 2 8 week challenges but this would have to start week commencing 1st September (running until the 26th Oct)
Any thoughts, then let me know, i'm easy..
I'm easy Shala and will go with whatever everyone decides. The only thing is when you say it like that - its scary how close Christmas is

Started well this morning,so breakfast was bacon, poached egg, beans, followed by an apple.
Didn't feel like lunch.
Didn't feel like tea, either, but thought I'd better feed the OH and kids,so had pasta with jar of tomato pasta sauce..I can't remember now,but I looked up the jar syns, and I think my serve would have been about 4 syns.Served with peas.
If anyone makes a recipe for chilli-spicy-tomato-ee pasta sauce,I would be very interested.
There are 4 unopened packets of biscuits in the cupboard(that OH bought today thinking we would be having visitors this afternoon).Even the biscuits are safe from me today.Bleugh....
Hope you're feeling better today saver-upper.Olderbutnotwiser wrote: »OMG! lost 1.5lbs this week (undeserved really yesterday was a day off)

Well done on your loss and your awards Olderbutnotwiser :TCan I just ask if anyone has a good set of kitchen scales that don't cost much? Is it worth getting some electronic ones because I'm struggling to get 20 or 30g of something on my dial scales that only mark every 25g. Don't even get me started on the intricacies of trying to get to 35g of cereal!
I think I got my digital kitchen scales from Home Bargains and I am pretty sure they were only about a fiver. They had them in bonny colours - I got bright greenThey are simple and easy to use and appear to be fairly accurate.

[shell. Welcome back and I hope you had a good time.
Your menu today looks decidedly Green to me! So you could have an extra HEA (more cheese on JP?) and an extra HEB if you wanted.[/QUOTE]
I did think about that but as it's weigh today I thought I would stick at that and then if I got hungry I was going to have some cheese on toast. - I didn't get hungry, think that may be knowing it's there if you want it makes you not crave the extra food because sometimes fruit just doesn't cut through the hunger.0 -
Evening..
I know the challenge is finishing on Saturday and don't want to cause confusion, but, when does everyone want to start the new one?

Will the challenge's be on this thread or do we have a new thread?
I will join the next challange, I would like to lose 10lb, slow and stready stays off hopefully.:j0 -
Well finally caught up, had to do it at home as actually had some work to do at work which makes a change, also means not snacking as much through boredom.
Todays menu is as follows
B- Fruit and Yogurt
L- Laughing cow dip pot 4 syns
D- Pasta with tuna and vegetables
Snacks - single twirl finger 5.5 syns, meringues 4 syns0 -
Ok so we'll do 2 lots of 8 week challenges (that will finish 21st December)
So first challenge will start on the 1st September to the 26th October.. 8 weeks. Let me know your targets whenever, it's fine if you want to wait until this challenge has finished..
Thats great shala. I will have a target of 12lbs please.lushlifesaver wrote: »
I would *like* to lose 1st by 1st Oct when I go back to work (though I think that would need 4 weeks of SE!) then lose another
1st 1lb by Christmas to be back at target...now if everyone could give me a kick up the tush that would be great!
Consider your tush kicked lushpink_poppy wrote: »
B - 2 chocolate Weetabix (HEB1 + 3.5 syns??), raspberries, blueberries, unsweetened almond milk (part HEA1)
L - loaded potato skins (no HEA in them today) & salad
D - 2 soft boiled eggs on (HEB2) toast with beans & grated cheese (HEA2)
I think when I checked the chocolate weetabix the other day pink poppy I think it was 1.5 biscuits for hexb1 and it would be only 2 syns for the other 0.5 weetabix - that was on EE mind you.

quick flying visit as rushed off my feet.
3.3 off for me this week putting me soooo close to 4 stone off in total.
I will catch up with the thread on Friday.

Shala, I'm not going to join the challenge as my aim is just to keep pulling myself to bottom end of target range when I've been off plan. I know I have a week's holiday next month so I'll definitely be working hard after that. I will keep posting my ups and downs though if that's OK with everyone.
