Goodness gracious me I have really been naughty. I went out with my granddaughter who I don't see very often because she lives a long way from me. She took my husband and I to a lovely farm shop, restaurant and ice cream parlour. Where I had for lunch Welsh rarebit and salad Ok you may say but, we joined at a portion of chips ,naughty ( my husband and myself.) But afterwards I had a scone, with jam and cream.. Lovely, so, today went clearly out of the window. I shall be on the right track tomorrow my granddaughter is going back home .:mad:0

Thank you maman & tracey for helping me track down the elusive lentils
I'll have a look tomorrow.
wizkid, it sounds like you have had a lovely day with your Granddaughter
Welcome to nicegirl
maman, I've bought Ald1's flavoured couscous before & it's the same as Ainsley Harriott's where you just add boiling water. I think you can add a knob of butter but I never did. It's going back a while since I had them, but I think they were synned, but only very low.'A watched potato will never chit'...0 -
-4lbs tonight at weigh in
Which means........ (Drum roll)
5 stone 1/2 gone for good
Couldn't be happier tonight:j:j0 -
Evening..
Well I've used the rest of my syns today on popcorn - only had 25g.. measured out portions of 25g and popped them in the cupboard for another day
We weren't allowed, as children, to have more than one packet of something a day so now they're in packs I won't have anymore - although i'd have happily eaten the whole 200g packet in one sitting if i'd let myself - doesn't make sense does it :rotfl:
Thanks for the almond news BEG, won't have the rest as i'm stuffed... but good to know you can have 20! :j
Hi nicegirl - welcome
poohbear - syn the sugar, it won't be much will it? You can have the rhubarb as a HEB can't you?
Wiz - you can't be 100% all the time, you sound like you enjoyed today that's the main thing... you never know it might give your body a shock and lose lbs!
I know the challenge is finishing on Saturday and don't want to cause confusion, but, when does everyone want to start the new one?
It's 16 weeks till the week of Christmas :eek: so we could do 2 8 week challenges but this would have to start week commencing 1st September (running until the 26th Oct)
Any thoughts, then let me know, i'm easy..Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

I have had a very bleugh day today. As mentioned when I introduced myself last week, there was a crisis in my life a few months ago.Sometimes as a result of that,I have days that life comes along and bites me on the b_m.Today was one of those days. All very sad.Lost all appetite.
Started well this morning,so breakfast was bacon, poached egg, beans, followed by an apple.
Didn't feel like lunch.
Didn't feel like tea, either, but thought I'd better feed the OH and kids,so had pasta with jar of tomato pasta sauce..I can't remember now,but I looked up the jar syns, and I think my serve would have been about 4 syns.Served with peas.
If anyone makes a recipe for chilli-spicy-tomato-ee pasta sauce,I would be very interested.
There are 4 unopened packets of biscuits in the cupboard(that OH bought today thinking we would be having visitors this afternoon).Even the biscuits are safe from me today.Bleugh....SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Thanks to all who helped with suggestions for me for this week for starting my new job.
I started today and actually managed to have breakfast, I had eggs on wmeal toast (HEB) at 6.30am. I was hungry by 11am, and because I had been told to just take money and ID to my new job I hadn't brought fruit or anything to snack on (my new job is in a prison BTW!). For lunch I went to the canteen where luckily they do jacket potatoes so had one with beans and cheese, and it was only £1.60. I was peckish at end of day and luckily had a banana stashed in the car to eat on the return journey. Very pleased I managed to stick plan
. My lovely OH made me a 4bean chilli with brown rice for my dinner. I treated myself to a g&t as a reward for surviving my first day:rotfl:.
I shall take packed lunch from next week, but I'm exhausted right now and don't fancy prepping anything so will have the jacket spud all week if needs be. Annoyingly there is no popty-ping (sorry, microwave!) in the staff room yet but one is on order so I can take hot meals then.
Thanks also to all those who helped re frittata, I made on on Sunday for a picnic and it was yum.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

..
Simples.
Fry an onion and garlic glove in frylight, either add an actual chilli pepper (or half), or dried chilli flakes, add tin tomatoes or two or passata if you want smooth, simmer for 15-20mins. Add a bit of tomato puree to thicken if needs be. Syn free. I sometimes add a teaspoon of sugar if it tastes too bitter but that needs to be synned.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *
