L - HM lentil & veg soup (if I can find the lentils in Ald1), loaded potato skins (HEA1 cheese) & salad

Last time I asked manager and he took me to where they used to be and then looked perplexed and decided they'd been discontinued. Since then I've been getting them in Lidl or Asian shop. I've just portioned up 6 lots of lentil soup this morning.
    B - Fruit and yoghurt
L - Honey roasted salmon flakes with salad
D - Waitrose tender extra lean sausages (2) with beans, poached egg and something else, maybe wedges

    Syns - sausages (3), yoghurt (0.5), salad cream (2.5). Total 6

Are the salmon flakes like smoked salmon trimmings? Sound yummy, are thy free?

Just noticed that your dinner's got no SF (I'm not the SF police honest:o) but may be OK depending on how much salad and fruit earlier.

I agree with not weighing this week denise. You're probably OK but if you were to go out of range it just complicates everything.

    MY EE menu:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs, HEA milk
L: lentil soup, cold meat, veg and pickles
D: liver & onions, mash, peas, cabbage, carrots
    Syns: gravy

Agree I'm probably OK but just don't want to have the worry that I might go out of range this week and then have to pay when I get back and also have to book holiday for the next 3 weeks! As a target member no need to book holidays as long as you get weighed once a month or so.

Have just had my jacket and savoury mince; decided I'd have a bit of cheese (HEA) on it and found DH has used it all! Had some grated parmasan in the freezer so put a sprinkle of that on top and it was really yummy.

Think I'll be having a few more jackets for lunch when I come back from holiday, also need to get back into making soups and stews to put in the freezer for quick lunches and dinners.

Yup, no sign of lentils in Ald1, asked someone & they said they don't sell them. I usually buy them in Home Bargains but they didn't have any either the last time I was there. I also looked in Tesc0 yesterday & couldn't find them ~ anyone know which aisle they would be in?! Who knew lentils could be so elusive!! :rotfl:

Hi everyone, just popping in to introduce myself as I have started SW today. :)

My weigh day will be Friday but I've started today as I don't want to leave it another week. I am also going on holiday for two weeks on 5th September, but again, I felt I needed to start straight away!

I did SW about ten years ago and got to my lowest adult weight. I know that the plan has changed quite a bit now and I'm confident that I should be able to adopt the EE way of eating as a lifestyle this time.

I've been reading this thread for a while and you have all really inspired me. I think that's why I've decided to start straight away. There's always a reason to delay it otherwise isn't there?!

    Hi all

Just 1lb off this week but remembering the picture of what 1lb of fat looks like has cheered me up, especially as I had an evening on the wine!

    Today (green):
Breakfast: 2 x brazil nuts (1/2 B), scrambled egg. Didn't fancy my cereal so just had a plum at work.

Lunch: Quinoa (1.5), avocado (6) and cottage cheese salad with lots of superfree and free.

Dinner: Veg stir fry with noodles.

Snacks: Fruit, muller light, mugshot, Alpen Light (1/2 B), cheese (A)

Drinks: Skinny capp (A), green tea, water.

    Good luck all!

Definitely agree with that! I've had so many things on lately that I'm pleased with each and every single day on plan.

Very briefly, the main difference as I see it between EE and Red/Green is that in order to have unlimited meat (fish etc) and potatoes (pasta etc) you go without one HEA and one HEB. Plus you must have at least a third of your food each day as Superfree veg or fruit. If you want to continue with Red or Green you can or mix up the plans (in complete days only). Lots of people on here do different plans on different days which you've probably noticed anyway.

    Do call in often.:)

I don't shop in Tesco but lentils could be with wholefoods near other dried pulses.
