Oh, I forgot. A couple of people have now commented on my weight loss (still really uncomfortable with anyone noticing!).

Well, I assume that the phrase "you're looking well" translates as "you're not as fat as when I saw you last" :rotfl:

    Totally agree Crabapple. :rotfl:
    Morning

Happy to report that the Diet Cola chicken recipe was delicious. We had it with a pouch of rice (half each), cabbage, peas and brocolli. I can post the receipe for anyone that wants it, or it can be found on the SW website.

    Menu for today:

B - Fruit and yoghurt with a back up B breakfast of sultana bran if hungry mid morning.
L - Honey roasted salmon flakes with salad
D - Not sure - probably another salad or maybe beans/egg on toast. Bored of cooking so need an easy meal

    Snacks - Fruit.
Drinks - Tea, coffee and water.

I am conscious that I've not been having my HEX B recently so will have a Hi-Fi bar this evening if I don't have my back up B breakfast.

Cola Chicken is a favourite of ours too Twinkletoes.

Morning all, just caught up after a few days internet playing up, just loving all the news and positive vibes on here.

Weather is cold wet and horrible this morning and NO Morrisons voucher, aww well means I can stay in the warm anyway. Got a batch of soup and a rice pudding on. The rice pudding is lovely but I am still trying to tweak it to get a skin on it, no luck yet.

Realised last night that I don't have any winter clothes as I cleared out all the fat ones and only replaced with summer bits yet so must get to the charity shops next week.

Well done to all some great losses and awards, keep it up lovelies we are all gonna be slinky for Christmas.

I went to pick up some Suns this morning and was shocked to find voucher was for Poundland,

Enjoyed my rice pudding but like you it is still a 'work in progress'. Lovely comfort food - just what we need now the weather is changed.

Don't think I will ever be slinky meg - especially not by Christmas ;)

Just had some Pasta n Sauce with extra veggies in. Off out now to have a big sort out of the garage so that we have some space for when we start the bathroom/toilet revamp.

Will catch up with everyone else later.

    Morning all,

Another one with Internet problems , another 1.5 off this week so that takes me to my Goal 10:T
I'm pleased with that. I'm almost in the 11's as well, hopefully next week. First time since my youngest was born 18 years ago:eek:
I've already had my weetabix this morning and planning on tackling my sons pit of a bedroom whilst he's away at the Leeds festival. I know I shouldn't do it, but I can't stand it any longer and I've run out glasses and plates.
Well done to all the loses.
    Have a great day x

Great loss Julie and well done on reaching Goal 10. :T

Soft boiled eggs & beans on HEB toast is one of my favourite easy meals, especially with HEA cheese grated on top. Yum

:rotfl::rotfl: My DDs are exactly the same!! My youngest usually has a collection of glasses/cups balanced on her headboard.

My DS is the same. Occasionally he brings a load down and dumps them on the side. If there is washing up water in the bowl - he will leave them to 'soak'

The sw gravy is lovely? (And syn free)
Slice a load of onions - soften in fry light - add some balsamic vinegar - let the onions go a bit sticky - add oxo(s) and boiling water - bring to the boil and let it reduce to a thick gravy - lovely with the Linda mc sausages n chips (plus hidden super free ;) )

Stirfry for tea tonight - day 3 back on plan :)

Confirm this gravy is delish ;)

Oh blimey,I have been sooo naughty the last couple of days.As mentioned,I had weigh-in on Monday night, have gained 11.5lb since I last weighed in (June 2nd).I really thought that would be the kick up the butt I needed to get going.I have made soup twice since Monday, and all goes well until mid-afternoon,when I just fancy something sweet......
All the biscuits in the house are gone (bought 2 packets on offer the other day "for the children".Before that,I can't remember the last time I have bought biscuits).
I have also finished all the bueno chocolate bars I had in the house (about 4 twin-packs:eek::eek:).
So here is the line I need to draw.........................................................

I have been having good meals (gammon, egg, veg last night, marinaded chicken with rice and veg the night before,2 different soups-potato and leak, squash and red pepper for lunches),but it is the snacking that brings me down.

However, today is the start of a new me.
For breakfast have had lean bacon, baked beans (had used up all the eggs with gammon last night),which was lovely. Also had an apple, cup of tea.

I have 2 bags of carrots in the fridge(by accident),so might make a carrot or carrot-and-something soup

All kicks up the bottom greatly appreciated, thank you :D

    and is it free
  • Can someone please settle a disagreement? My SW rep states both men and women get a 15 syn allowance per day but other people at work that attend different groups state the mens allowance is 20.

I have been to 2 different groups where I was told the mens and womens allowance is the same (15 syns)

I think it depends on how much weight needs to be lost. We had a guy started a couple of weeks ago with his wife and she got the standard 15 syns he got given 25 syns - you should have seen her face when the consultant mentioned it!!! He wants to lose quite a bit. However, our consultant also gives ladies who have a lot to lose a higher syn level (one lady who wants to lose about 10+ stone definitely was given a higher level but not sure whether it was 20 or 25).

Had a good group this morning with a different consultant as ours is on holiday (this is her first full week's holiday since I've been going to SW and I started in July 2010!).

Was amazed to have lost 0.5lb to take me to Bottom End of Target, was expecting a STS at best - so have decided I won't weigh next week in case I lose anything (even without trying) as I go on holiday next Friday.

    Having an EE day today:

    B - banana after WI
L - LO meatballs & veg (from freezer) - which I've just finished and they were really nice; definitely something I need to make again.
D - HM fish pie (again from freezer) - it already has added veg so not sure whether we'll have any extra but probably not.

    HEA - milk in tea
HEB - not decided yet but possibly a couple of Ryvitas & an Alpen Light - will decide later

Syns - will probably have a couple of glasses of red this evening

Well I went .5lb under target last night (Did get my 1.5st award though). May have to leave some extra clothing on next weigh in (or a handful of pound coins in my pockets) as I too am on holiday in a couple of weeks.

I used to do that a year or so ago when I was having problems getting my medication sorted out (but thankfully that's now sorted and I've managed to stay within target range for most of the last year).
