Well done for getting straight back on plan annie. Hopefully you'll have a good loss next week, that can work if you're 'good' and nothing happens. I'm still not back to where I'd like to be and I got back from holiday on July 1st! Too much eating out. I was feeling positive until I put a clean pair of jeans on this morning and they feel miserably tight.:( I think I'll go to a group this evening (usual consultant, different group) and find out the worst as I can't make usual WI tomorrow.Might make some lentil soup or something to keep me going and back on plan.
That's my plan too. I ate the last HM soup from the freezer yesterday so I'm going to cook a gammon joint at the weekend and make lentil soup from the stock. I find it's not too bad choosing from a Full English breakfast buffet. I generally go for beans and bacon and them maybe tomatoes and mushrooms and an egg if not too fatty. And more and more places do fresh fruit too. At least I start the day on plan.pink_poppy wrote: »maman, I have a combi microwave/oven & I love it. Our 'big' oven is old & takes an age to heat up, whereas the combi is so quick to heat up & definitely saves on electricity. I use it pretty much every day.
Welcome RedCola. I shop at Ald1, & do mostly green days to keep the costs down.
Thanks for the microwave info. I'll certainly consider one when this one dies.
:wave:redcola. I'm the same and shop at Aldi (almost manage a full shop there now) plus odd bits from shopping around (Farmfoods, Iceland). I rarely do Green but I do have small meat portions and fill up with plenty of veg. Just shout if you've any more questions. Are you planning to go to group every week?
wiz, I can't see Nutrigrain mentioned as such. Kelloggs breakfast biscuits come out at 2.5 and the Soft and Chewy at 6.5. Definitely not on HEB list.
My EE menu:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, scrambled eggs
L: JP, cottage cheese, pickleslamb hotpot (moved from yesterday's plan).
Syns: squirt of HP sauce and maybe gravy granules in hot pot (SW recipe)0 -
Welcome back Lush!
I posted a recipe for a syn free mince on here, might be worth a go, even the ever so slightly fussy Top Boy is a fan0 -

What will you be loading them with??
They were amazing!! Thank you for reminding me about them.. i had cheese, ham and a bit of red onion  I think i much prefer them to bringing a jacket potato for lunch (i have to reheat i the microwave)
Lush - that sounds like a good plan you have set up, i'm sure you'll get that weight back off in no time. I might steal your idea if thats ok and just have a list of things i can have for lunch/dinners - at the moment every night i sit there trying to think what i can bring in with me for lunch and then what we can have for teait's really getting annoying because we can never decide!

Hello lovelies
Let's all absolutely smash it today.
Lovely, positive!!!:D
Good to see you back lush. Wow!! You sound organised.
McCain Rustic Chips are the lowest syn I know (1 syn for 100g) but I stopped buying them as the price kept going up and up and it felt like a rip off. Same brand 5% fat are 1.5 and then Home Chips are 2 for straight and chunky (not crinkle they're higher). Home Chips are sometimes on offer too.0 -

Sounds good to me Lantanna
Just got two packs of WW sausages in Asda reduced to 90p each :money: am I right in thinking these are 0.5 syns per sausage? They're premium pork.0 -
Well, today has gone wrong
. Forgot to eat my breakfast again (about the 3rd time this week - I blame small children) and realised when I was half way to where we were going out for the day.
So breakfast ended up being a toasted teacake with butter (although I only used 2 portions and it would have been 5 before SW). Lunch was lasagne with garlic bread and a tiny salad which was at least dressing free.
Going to go turn some veg into a dinner that will be free because I seriously need some superfree food today and I've probably had enough syns til at least the weekend:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls
