Right back from WI 1lb off Maman I pinched your idea of a skirt and top, to be honest was glad to take the jeans off they were so uncomfortable but really pleased I have ditched the elastic waists, makes you so much aware of a gain so you can catch it back quickly. So pleased with being more painfree that am determined this weight never goes back on. Scottish dancing , Wow I used to love a good Reel and even better I loved an Irish Jig, then I liked to Rock and Roll. do the twist, nowadays I think a sedate waltz is more my style.

    Hi all

Congratulations to those who have lost and commiserations to those who haven't.

Not a bad day for me today. Started cleaning out my kitchen cupboards including cleaning all the tops of the cupboards and the doors, so quite a bit of body magic stretching and up and down steps.

Breakfast: apple, 2 x LM sausages, mushrooms and 2 x M&S mini rolls (HexB) DG latte (2.5 syns)

lunch: cucumber, chicken, spring onion, tomatoes, UB rice (2.5 syns)

dinner: ginger beef stir fry (from July mag) 2 syns - used all the sauce ingredients in the recipe but only had a normal pack of stirfry and about half the beef they recommended between the two of us. We had it with noodles instead of rice. Very tasty.

supper - not sure if I will bother but if I do strawberries will be what I have.

    syns today: 7

syn bank used: 27.5 left: 77.5

Oh, top girl, I missed your setback too! Remember, it's just that - a setback; you'll turn it round. Sending a hug.

If I've missed anyone else, have a hug from me too.

If you have managed to lose, I'm jealous - no,I'm not, you've earned it. Well done.

As for me, well Annie, it's an STS. I didn't deserve any better and, if truth be told, I'm pleasantly surprised.

    Tuesday's Menu
Breakfast: smoked salmon omelette with mushrooms and hexb toast with a little butter (3 syns)
Lunch: chicken salad sandwich (6 syns + 1 syn for xl mayo) followed by a shape apple crumble yogurt. It was supposed to be noodles, but OH couldn't wait until I'd finished what I was doing and made sandwiches. At least he used xl mayo instead of butter! ;)
Dinner: marinated lamb with a salad of new potatoes, runner beans and red onion, dressed with ff yogurt, lemon juice & zest, crushed garlic, cumin seed and chopped fresh mint. Mmmmm. clementine
    Snacks: 1 Werther's Original (1 syn)

I still have hexa to have, so that, in some form, will be my supper tonight - banana & milk or mini babybel light & grapes or laughing cow light and tomato on 2 crackers/ Ryvita for my remaining 4 syns. Actually, that's quite a selection!

Total: 11 syns - so far
Syns Bank Balance: 94 syns for 6 days

    Feeling optimistic :)

Hugs top girl, I have had a huge gain one week and I was gutted. It is hard but keep on the plan and it will come off.

Just come back from a long walk with the dogs. Added at least an hours walk through fields to my daily routine. Been doing it for a week and a half now so hoping it helps with the weight loss. Feel like I am repeating myself sorry if I have already said this. I am totally knackered, my little boy decided 2am was a good time to get up so I am done in!

Breakfast - all bran, skimmed milk, activa 0 fat yoghurt, banana
Lunch - 2 x mug shots (I was starving!) apple, banana
Tea - home made turkey meat balls (with veg in them) served with a tomato and veg sauce, broccoli and pasta. Melon for pudding.

Snacks apple, 2 x mini meringue, muller lite lemon greek style, strawberrys.

Syns - 2 for meringue, 0.5 mug shot, 0.5 greek style yoghurt, options hot choc 2 - TOTAL 5

    hea - skimmed milk
    heb - all bran

weigh in tomorrow morning, fingers crossed the scales are kind.

    Hi all,
Congratulations to those losing, and commiserations for gains - I've felt like a yoyo with my weight of late, hence why I'm trying this approach...

Today has gone well so far however Ive found that I was getting very hungry - first time in a while :rotfl: I was at work but didn't drift to the canteen, but perhaps need to take more food with me

B- fat free yoghurt, strawberries and blackberries
    S - Banana
L - chicken breast, cucumber and tomatoes
    S - Banana
D - chicken, veg and wholemeal pasta in fat free quark and fromage frais (didn't work well, the cheese split but it tasted fine :p)

    HEA - skimmed milk
HEB - not yet - probably a wholemeal roll shortly

Syns - none as yet, glass of wine shortly

Also walked 5 km tonight and according to MapMyWalk burnt off 283 calories :j

I'll be weighing in on Saturday and am really hoping for a loss to spur me on - the last time I tried SW I put on the first week - I think a combination of water retention and more sugary fruit than my body knew what to do with. I really hope that doesn't happen this time so am trying not to snack on fruit all day just because...
