Awww Durham what a lovely surprise for your anniversary, bet you were thrilled.
That sounds great durham. I'd love to do that. Some friends, who live in Blackpool, took me there for coffee. I loved watching the dancing and my feet were itching to get on the floor. Unfortunately I was with DH (two left feet) and his elderly uncle (spirit willing, flesh weak).;)
My jeans are feeling tight too meg. I've been really good since last Wednesday, hoping for a loss this week (Thursday is regular WI day) but not feeling like it's happening.:( I'm planning my lightest skirt and a strappy top instead of my usual jeans for WI.
We're having Szechuan beef tonight. MSE version using LO beef from Sunday. Worked brilliantly last time instead of using a piece of steak but I'm going a bit easier on the chillies today.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs
L: cold meat, fried veg and picklesSzechuan beef with noodles (and added mushrooms, peppers and beansprouts)
Syns: squirt of HP sauce, about 2 for my dinner (recipe and noodles shared with DH)0 -
WI tonight. I go with my baby boy and say it's our 'date night'! He's 5 months and needs feeding during that time, and hubby is home putting our toddler to bed.
Been obsessively weighing myself so trying very hard not to do that today. Will get hubby to hide the scales I think! I know I've been eating to plan and not had a blowout so hope there will be some loss.
I don't tend to post my menus because I have lots of HE foods. But have just had lunch and it's one of my faves.
I love Italian food and mozzarella, tomato and basil is a common starter type dish. Half fat mozzarella ball (part of one is an HEA), sliced tomato, fresh basil and a sprinkle of ground black pepper. Just gorgeous on a sunny day! I was hungry so bumped it up with salad leaves, cucumber & mushroom.
I've got grapes and possibly a yoghurt for afternoon snack, then will be making a veg & lentil sauce to go with pasta for after WI!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

I have checked the HEB list and the muesli is not on there. The syns online said you can have 25g Aldi, Harvest Morn Premium muesli, really nutty for 5 syns on either plan.
You can have 100g fresh or pureed avocado for 9.5 syns on all plans
Tracey
Hmm - will stop having that muesli then! Thanks for checking it for me.
Not sure how much avocado it was but it was half a small one. Will weigh the one I have planned for tomorrow and have no more syns today. My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Thanks for all the comments. Dancing is great fun, I've two left feet and am tone deaf so thought I'd be rubbish at it. We have lovely teachers who take us at our own pace. There were two or three other couples who started at the same time as us and we've become good friends. 6 months on and we can do a waltz, and enough of the quickstep and foxtrot to get us round the dance floor. Having ME I wasn't sure if I could cope with the energy required for this new hobby but it is quite gentle exercise and so much fun it doesn't feel like exercise. I have to manage my time carefully the rest of the week and have a fairly restful day when its dance class night so that I can cope. Even OH who wasn't too keen at first really enjoys it, in fact I say he was even more keen than me now. Our class has as dinner dance at Christmas and a weekend away once a year and we're already talking about doing these. Its a great incentive to lose weight so I can get some lovely dresses.Weight loss 0/2st

Change of plan for lunch as didn't make it home in time! Bought a couple of boxes of sushi from Tesco when I did the shopping and ate them in the car before driving home! Total of 3.5 syns so not too bad.
Had some fruit when I got in as been a bit low on SFs today.

Not one commiserations?
Yesterday was bang on plan, today will hopefully be the same.
B - Mushroom omelette
D - SW quiche, salad, pineapple and kiwi chunks, walkers french fries
Just now - 30g Great White bread, co-op chicken tikka slices, one laughing cow extra light triangle, a benefit bar, an apple and a pear
*** Top Boy's play tonight so trying to stop stomach rumbling ***
If I'm hungry when I get in, I have mushy pea curry with cod fillets and vegetables in and plenty of rice or a baked potato
HEXA - Milk and cheese
HEXB - 1/2 bread 1/2 benefit bar
Syns - 5 for french fries, 1 for triangle, possibly 2 for pre-bed hot chocolate
I think I'll be changing my WI day to Sat to reflect my syn week start.
Well done to all losers, hopefully I'll join you next week :j0 -

Aww bless topgirl, had to read back to see what commiserations
were needed I suppose you mean 4lb gain, sorry missed it at first as its tiny and in blue. I do tend to think what goes on quickly comes off quickly so hopefully a loss for you soon . Personally unless I know I have not stuck to plan I just blame it all on extra fluid or wind :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Slimming World at target0 -
So sorry topgirl, I missed it too. It's tough but you're moving on. Well done you! Good plan to eat before top boy's play tonight. I hope it goes well.
I find my Thursday WI suits me fine. I've never been one to have a blow out on WI day (allegedly syns don't count on WI day;)). Generally I'm motivated to hit it hard either to keep up the good work or get seriously back on plan so I go off and do my meal plan for the coming week. Then I stay on plan easily until Friday night and have most of my syns between then and Sunday. That leaves three days to get me ready for next WI day.durham_mim wrote: »Our class has as dinner dance at Christmas and a weekend away once a year and we're already talking about doing these. Oooh, I love the chance to dress up. You can tell us all about it nearer the time.
I've found I'm dancing (I do Scottish) far better since losing weight. I'm (literally) lighter on my feet and far more energy.Change of plan for lunch as didn't make it home in time! Thanks, I didn't realise sushi is quite low syn. Wish I'd known that in the days when I used to stop at petrol stations for pasties, crisps and pork pies.:)lilian1977 wrote: »Hmm - will stop having that muesli then! Thanks for checking it for me
It seems that most of the muesli on the HEB lists are more expensive brands. But I'm sure I've seen Dorset cereal in Lidl. Not sure of price though.0 -

Thanks - have bought the Aldi F&F instead which is on the list, so I will pass the muesli to non-SW husband! My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Thanks Maman and Meg.
I was gutted to be honest, but, it was the kick up the backside I needed, probably.
Maman, the reason I've switched it round is because generally I go out on a Saturday, so I have the week to pull it back, both syn and WI wise.
If I don't, I tend to have a low key meal or night out or just a nice tea on Fridays so I can save for that.
Some weeks I do both so I would have a roughly 40 syn split for each and 5 a day inbetween.
Hopefully this will work better for me :A0
