    Hello all

I hope you don't mind me asking in here, I will join properly I promise!

I've restarted today after a couple of years, and had Aldi's Really Nutty Muesli for breakfast as I used to have it as a HEX B, however it doesn't seem to appear on the most recent list on here so do I need to syn it, or I have I just missed it?

    Thanks

    For reference, today I've had:

    250ml VitaCoco coconut water (2.5)
2 egg omelette (microwaved so nothing added)
    Banana
Aforementioned 27g of muesli (HEX B?) with handful of blueberries
    Peach
Salad made with brown rice, loads of veg, chick peas and FF cottage cheese. Added 1/2 a small avocado (7?)
2 x rhubard and custard sweet from Aldi (1)

Milk in coffee for HEX A

This afternoon - apple, melon and kiwi, Special K bar (HEX B).

Chicken Mugshot and 1 x Mikado Daim (0.5)

Jacket potato with beans and HEX A cheese, with a side of fresh spinach, for tea tonight with FF yoghurt for afters.

Loads of water and herbal tea.

I make that 11 syns, although as I'm not sure about the cereal I will leave it as that for today.

    Does that sound ok?

Lilian - 35g of Dorset Cereals Really Nutty Museli is HEB so would assume the Aldi one is too. Assumed you're doing Green although I needed to check the chicken mugshot as wasn't sure about that as have never had them!

Well not as good a day as I had planned but 10 syns so within limit. Will need to pull back syns over the next few days to make sure I have some for wine at weekend.

Evening everyone. Sorry for the latish post but I've just got back from a very nice lunch out with friends. I had forgotten all about our arrangements until I looked in my diary; that put paid to my original meal plan. However, I allowed myself 30 syns max and tried to choose wisely.

    Today's plan is now:-

    Smilk in drinks

    B: oats 35gr
    Activia 0% yogurt
    Banana

    L: Very Lean beef
    Mixed salad
Apple&Cherry crumble with custard. 30 syns

    D: Cold smoked pork
    Potatoes
    Tomatoes
    Lettuce
    Beetroot
    Cucumber
    Grated carrot

    Snacks: fruit

I weighed this morning before going out and I have lost 2lb

    Great loss Lioness Twinkletoes :)

Thanks crabapple nowhere near as high as I was expecting so I had my dumplings and enjoyed them :)

Dad is coming up tomorrow to go driving so no real opportunity for snacking etc so that should mean a fairly low syn day :)

Almost-mother-in-law and I are considering crafting a few bits and pieces to sell at local arts and crafts markets so that should keep me busy too :)

    Time to think about tomorrow...

    Lioness - that's brill.

I managed a tiny bit better today.

Breakfast: spaghetti hoops on hexb toast
Lunch: hexa cheese omelette with peppers and mushrooms
Dinner: tomato & mixed pepper pasta, WW lemon tart yogurt
Snack: coffee bun - no idea of syns, OH brought it up to me when I was working upstairs; it wasn't even very good. And I've just noticed he also bought another 2 (I will ignore them easily now) and som empire biscuits. Aaaaaagh! Sabotage.

    Total: coffee bun worth

Right now I have rhubarb and ginger bars baking in the oven. I can't remember who recommended them, but thanks again. I reckon the whole tin is 94 syns (counted the calories for all ingredients and then converted that to syns) Recipe suggests you get 16 bars, so that's 6 syns per bar. Each bar should be 1" x 4", so hopefully won't look too wee. I'm planning on testing one for supper, despite that coffee bun.

WI tomorrow morning - not hopeful :(

    Good luck everyone.

Well done on the 6lb loss twinkletoes

wizkid1 - everything I have read states use some syns. I lose more weight if I have between 10-15 per day.

Last week I went a bit mad on the Thursday so really cut back Friday and Saturday. Will be interesting to see if it affects my loss as I have wanted to try banking syns but never done it.

Got a new dog over a week ago so have been going on lots of walks. Hopefully this will mean a good loss this week.

    EE again for me today.

Breakfast, mushrooms, tomato, egg and beans.
Lunch - ham and egg salad sandwhich, fruit salad
Tea - pork, super rice (extra veg, potato, mushroom, courgettes and salad. Home made salsa (hot hot hot) and Sw BBQ sauce.

    Syns - mayo on sandwhich 2 - will be having 2 x mini meringues 2, curly wurly 6.5 and a options hot choc 2 - TOTAL 14.5

    Hea - skimmed milk
    Heb - 2 x wholemeal bread.
