AFAIK you just start again like a new member for the £10 (approx.). I think that's cheaper for most people than paying for missed weeks. I'm not sure though as I've never asked anyone.

I've never made potato skins only had them in pubs/restaurants. How do you prepare them before microwaving?

Thanks for the SW info :)

The potato skins are not like the ones in pubs (if you're talking about the ones you can dip in garlic mayo :whistle:). I just zap a potato in the microwave, scoop out the middle & mix with quark, red onion, cheese (if I'm needing a HEA) & black pepper, then just pile the mixture back into the skins & bake in the oven until browned on top, usually 15 mins on 200 degrees is enough. Yum.

meg, hope the head isn't too sore this morning/afternoon (delete as appropriate) ;)

Lioness, that's a fantastic loss, well done!! :T

Another green menu for me today:

B - branflakes (HEB1), raspberries (which I've just remembered I haven't got out of the freezer!!), greek yoghurt (3.5 syns)
L - HM lentil & veg soup, loaded potato skins (HEA1 for cheese) & salad
D - HM veg chilli, basmati rice, wholemeal pitta (HEB2), grated cheese (HEA2) & salad

Hmm, that menu is a bit Groundhog Day :o

Well done everyone who has lost and those who have been nominated/won WOTY. Hugs to those who need them.

I'm struggling to eat syns since the weekend:( - I really need to have at least 105 a week (usually have a few more than that) otherwise I don't seem to lose!

Having a Red day today for a change:

B - marmite on toast (will use 10g of butter on each slice to up the syns, LOL!)
    L - Ham salad sandwich
D - Stuffed courgette topped with cheese (again!)

    HEA - Milk & cheese
    HEB - bread x 2

    Syns: 20g of light butter 5; 2 Tbs LTL mayo 1; pink n white 2.5; fruit split lolly 3 = 11.5

Can't remember who asked but not all beans are free for example the Heinz curry beans are 1.5 the tin? Beans with sausages are synned?

    Yesterday's gain was a splendid 4on lol
However as someone fabulous informed me yesterday I'm only 20lb from my first target weight I set myself / so 2lb a week is 10 weeks of being on plan and not having naughty crunchy nut cornflakes every day is a good place to start..

Boiling eggs in the microwave - I think you have to put a pin !!!!! in the shell before heating...

    Welcome all newbies :)
Started sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Congrats on the losses lioness and blueeyedgirl, and welcome newbies and returners!

WI for me tonight. I really look forward to it, but it's a mixture of excitement and fear! Usually baby gets cooed over a lot as well so he quite likes the trip out and has lots of people to smile at :)

I really like coming home after and putting the new weight into the SW site so I can make my graph look pretty! I'm 1lb above a stone barrier now so would like to get below it.

Meg, that sounds like a wonderful birthday! I don't think there's any point working out the syns in that half bottle, just enjoy the treat ;)

I was thinking about birthdays last night because of that. Mine isn't until June so it's a good way away, but it's one of those pesky ones that end in a 0 :(. Would be so nice to be thin before I'm old :rotfl:

Good luck to all the Tuesday WI peeps, hope you all get nice numbers!

Sounds good Lioness, I've had to invest in an exercise bike as my shins are still really hurting, winter is coming up, etc.

Hoping to be able to squeeze half an hour every other day in to start with. I miss running :(

Lantanna, worth it though :) no socialising for me for almost a fortnight now, no child free nights anyway, which always makes it easier to stay on track.

    Good luck today, all!

Do you finish the current challenge on the 30th then?
Yes shala the 30th, that would be amazing thank you x

Thanks, that was me. I only eat plain baked beans and only in other recipes. Used to love baked beans but they're so sweet tasting these days. I'm not keen on the reduced this and that ones.

I used them in the mushy pea curry, which sounded revolting, but I really liked it.
