I always seem to come back to bananas!

Hi, on the subject of bananas, I lost weight when having bananas on toast so I don't think that they affect your weight loss that much.

056dillonl1381, you're right that planning is the answer. I make a weekly meal plan for suppers and chop and change to suit what I'm doing. For lunch and breakfast I just have a load of choices (soup, beans, eggs, ham, cereal, LOs!!) that I pick from daily. I think it helps if you have a few HM ready meals in the freezer in case you get pushed for time and try not to buy in anything that's not SW friendly.
    I'm with Maman on this.

Planning makes so much difference - I actually plan more than this and plan all 3 meals a day for a month at a time! Don't always stick to it completely but means I know what meals we'll be having over the month - just move them around occasionally or change slightly: for example we had roast beef yesterday and I was going to mince the LOs and make a shepherds pie but came back from a weekend away and found I had 2 huge courgettes so we'll still be having the LO beef minced but we will be having stuffed courgette instead!

Didn't go too far over on syns at the weekend and have 13 a day Mon - Wed before WI on Thursday am.

Another EE day for me today:

    B - bacon & mushroom omlette
L - beans on toast; banana; pineapple
D - stuffed courgette - minced LO beef with onions, garlic, peppers, mushrooms, worcester sauce. Will have with SW chips (at DH's request!)

HEA will be mainly milk plus a little cheese on top of the mince
HEB will be bread for toast

Not sure about syns yet but will probably have a fruit split this evening - 3. So still 10 available for today.

On a strict damage limitation exercise now until Thursday.

    Have been really really bad!!!!!!!!!!

On Thursday night after weigh I had curry chips from the Chinese.
On Friday I had two fried sausages and two pieces of potato bread.
On Saturday I was out for lunch and had a Chicken Casear Salad, croutons, dressing - the works and a portion of salt & chilli chips.
On Saturday night I had half a bottle of wine, mussels and green beans. I was feeling bad so asked to swap the chips for the green beans. Then yesterday I had 2 fried sausages, 2 bits of potato bread, a stuffed sausage and 4 slices of toast throughout the day - I was too hungover to function to do anything but toast bread lol.

No gym all weekend. Its a flipping disgrace and the line is drawn.

Hope weigh in isn't too painful on thurs!!

Re the bananas - I find they hinder my weight loss - I would only ever have one once in a blue moon.

:)Good morning everyone I have written all this once and it's just disappeared. :D
So, after me getting on the scales, it show me 2lb under 11 stone, that's another 1lb loss. Oh, what I would give for a good loss, like,, about 4lb but, it's not to be I am destined to be a plodder. Anyway, 10 stone 12 sounds better than 11st. So, congratulations to everyone who has also lost, and commiserations to those who haven't or who have stayed the same. It will happen, just keep plodding along like me. Look forward to the next WI you may be surprised.:T:

Planning cous cous and omlette for lunch.
left over bean burito for tea with veg and salad.
    Snacks: banana, youghurt, and rasberries.
Can anyone give me and idea of how bad rice cakes are?- like them with a slice of quorn ham.
Also, read about cous cous cake?? can anyone help out with the receipe please?

Lastly, I used to make pasta crisps- free before:
boil pasta, then spray lite and stir in marmite. then bake for around 20mins.
Would this still be free on green days??
    Good luck all!

    :wave:poppy.

The thread reminds me of a RL group with wanderers returning. At least you don't have to pay to re-register!:rotfl:

    EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: probably ham, veg and pickles
D: thinking of zapping a HM Bolognese when I get back from Heathrow
    Syns: squirt of syrup
Must eat some more SFs too. Maybe I'll have a fruit snack later.

I think we're down to one bag of crisps now (but I'm not going to look). DH had one last night and called out to ask if I wanted some. I refused!!:D

Kallo rice cakes tend to come out at 1.5 syns each. Snack a Jacks jumbo ones are about 2.

The pasta crisps are all free ingredients but it does sound a bit like 'abuse':D Probably OK so long as you don't eat too much.

I've never made a cous cous cake. There are recipes online but maybe someone will be along with personal experience.
