Morning everyone. Many congrats to our women of the year and on the losses!

    * has turned up for me. Bit of a shocker after months of pregnancy and freedom! Had grumpy thoughts about it but then thought at least it will be mostly done by WI so timing isn't bad!!

That probably explains my dodgy couple of days earlier in the week. I wasn't vastly off plan but wasn't as good as I could have been. Back to it now, except that my mum is cooking lasagne tonight. I know it will be packed with veg so it's probably just the cheese sauce and she doesn't ever do enough so should be low on syns.

Last night we had a veg pasta - lots of different veg, a tin of borlotti beans, cooked up some pasta and stirred them together with an HEA of low fat philli. Was really nice.

Today will be branflakes, salad for lunch and the lasagne for tea. It's lovely of my mum to cook for us but her lasagne isn't as good as mine so I'm always a bit disappointed :rotfl:

Well done to Lantanna on getting taller! I was gutted when they measured me when I was pregnant and I found out I was an inch shorter than I thought :(

Thanks Meg will try the cake too! I can see we're going to have a lemony week here :D

I'm not going to posts menus today as we're off to a wedding in a bit and it's a takeaway style buffet so I doubt there'll be salad. :o I haven't been particularly good anyway this week, resulting in a 2lb gain so far :(

Had to bake the wedding cake yesterday and it was a disaster so what should have took 4-5 hours took 10 and much stressing, OH fetched pizza for our tea :o

Just going to pull back as much as I can between Sunday and Wednesday and see if I can redeem myself! :D

Off to the hairdressers now to get my do done..

    Xx

Hi All, I havent popped in for a while but have been plodding on with the SW!

Annie I lost 3lb this week - my total on the chart should be -9lb in total. Sorry, I havent updated for a couple of weeks.

I got my 1 stone award this week so Im pleased with that! Our woman of the year is not until next week, It sounds awful but there is not anyone in my group that has got a huge weight loss or who I felt must be nominated! But I voted for a lovely lady who is always smiling and there for others, she runs to and from group and has consistent weight loss. Think she is only at 1.5 stone loss so far but she is lovely.

Im not sure what to make for the occassion, I have found a recipe for some Strawberry Cupcakes that are 2.5 syn each so I might go with that.

Anyway, I will come in more regularly again, well done to everyone who has been voted or won WOTY :) See you soon xx

Feeling really, really fed up today. WI and its another STS I have been the same for the last 7 months. I weighed during the week and occasionally the scales showed a 1lb loss so there is definately some movement, but when it gets to Saturday its the same weight again. My scales don't show half pounds so it may be there is a half pound loss. I'm just so frustrated as I'm trying all the suggestions in this thread. Its so bad I've been thinking of switching back to low carb but I don't want to do that as it is quite restricting and everything has to be made from scratch there is no quick snack for when you are tired.

    EE Menu:

B: Fruit & fibre with ff activia. Tea with milk.
L: Noodles. Banana. Tea with milk.
D: Pilchard curry (pilchards in tom sauce, onions & spices) with brown rice. Tea with milk.

Need some snacks/syns but not sure what yet.

You have my sympathies, I'm struggling at the moment. Looking at your menu it is very light on the super frees. Can only see onions and a banana. EE is 1/3 of your meals should be sf or some do 1/3 of their day. So can only suggest to up the sf, could you put more veg in your curry? What about some mixed veg or salady bits with your noodles? Hope you geta loss next week :A.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
