Hey everyone, I'm losing the plot. Still have access to cooker but that's only two rings and oven as the other two rings and grill bit the dust last week. Another two weeks before new kitchen is complete so meals are shall we say....interesting:rotfl:
Hopefully MrsR will look in soon. She's lost loads and got to target with IIRC just the basics like a microwave. She's full of ideas.:)

Top Girl: of course. Can't remember where I got the recipe but here it is:

    SW Chocolate Brownies

    Ingredients
    6 eggs (separated)
    70g Splenda (or other sweetener)
60g cocoa powder (not hot chocolate)
    1tsp vanilla essence
    Fry Light

    Instructions
Preheat the oven at 180ºc, spray a baking tin with Fry Light
    Line with greaseproof paper
Whisk the egg whites until they form soft peaks. In a separate bowl add the egg yolks, sweetener, vanilla essence & cocoa
Whisk until mixed but you can add a bit of water if the mixture is too stiff
Then fold in the egg whites
Pour the mixture into the tin
    Bake for 25-30 minutes.
    Eat hot or cold.

To work out syns you need to divide 11 by number of pieces made.

I made mine in 2 18 cm x 18 cm tins and cut into 36 pieces from each (72 pieces in total) so came to 3 pieces for 0.5 syns.

They are actually a bit like bitter chocolate so quite rich and you don't need a lot for a chocolate "fix".

Thanks for this Denise. Might give these a go for our tasting night next week. ;)

    Hi All

I wanted to share a blog with you (not mine). I found it on Pinterest. Unfortunately as a new forum user I can't post links but if you Google vicki-kitchen you'll find it easily.

This lady has some fabulous SW friendly recipes either syn free or low syn.

I tried the syn free roast potatoes last night, expecting them to be horrible, and they were fantastic. Even hubby liked them and he's a roast spud connoisseur. I'm a complete convert and can't wait to try some of the other recipes.

I came across this lady too a little while a go. Some lovely sounding recipes. :D

More hugs on the way to you meg xx

Come on then own up Maisie - what flavour was it? I tried the pistaschio one last week and it was totally delish - well worth the 14 syns - now and then that is :o

Struggling with ideas on what to take to tasting next Monday. I missed the last tasting night at class so at a bit of a loss on what to take. If anyone has any ideas I would be really grateful. ;)

Well done on all the fab losses so far this week.

    Welcome on board boredofbeingathome :hello:

Got it in one beg it was the pistachio one lol. Saw them a couple of weeks ago and could not resist. The Champagne ones are nice too but the pistachio one is so gorgeous. Two more in the freezer but I am limiting myself to one on weigh day only if I loose (so they will last a while then lol).

Been a really busy day and don't seem to have had any time to myself at home.

Was absolutely amazed to find I had stayed the same this week (will probably catch up with me next week!); was really expecting a big gain!

Just finished the coq au vin with mash and it was really nice but could have done with more gravy granules than the recipe stated as it was still very thin - it was almost as if there were no granules in it.

I used to do just green or red days. So thought i would have a bash at EE.

Breakfast 1HB weetabix and HA of skimmed milk with a banana on top-rest of milk used in tea.

Dinner-Omelette with ss peppers and onions, large salad and a baked potato which needed using up.

Evening meal-SW curry, using peppers, onions and peas.

Sweet syn free low fat yoghurt and fruit.

Syns used so far-dressing ( low fat) 1 level tablespoon 2 syns

100ml of orange juice- I think is 4.5 syns, but not quite sure. So will take this value.

Edit to add oil syns on as my spraylite wasn't working :/ Think that is 6 syns for a level tablespoon gutted

Thanks joedenise and meg72 I will take a look at the grocery thread. Aiming to spend £380 this month.

Meg72 cannot wait to have a go at making yoghurt in the slow cooker. Have a mad busy weekend but will let you know how I get on next week.

    Welcome slimwriter, sandra and emily926

frogga I love quark, use it for all sorts. If you see the vanilla lakeland one get it, its not free but well worth the syns.

Got the job so went for celebratory chinese buffet today. Totally naughty but had to be done. Will be way over my syns as I had ice cream and a little slice of cake as well.

Still full though so not had any tea. If I get hungry later on I will have some fruit.

Weigh in was Wednesday 1.5lbs off for me. I am away at the weekend so going to bow out of the challenge. As I am struggling to post on a Saturday and its not fair to make it so complicated for annie trying to make sure my figure is up to to date.
