Meg - Sorry to hear of your sadness and I too am thinking of you. A night off will not do you any harm at all.
Not much to report at this end. Behaving myself lol - well trying lol.
Went to the gym last night - was great and was in bed out of it for 10.30pm lol. Will go again tonight.
Seem to have gotten myself into a routine where I go Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday and that works well. Off out on Saturday night to see Dirty Dancing and have dinner with a friend. No treats until then.
Wi tomorrow - pah, can't believe how quickly it comes around. I was hopeful for my 0.5 lb to get my cert until the pmt kicked in. I also am up for woman of the year. This will be my last award (if I get it) I've told her I'm opting out after this as I want others to get recognition and I am sure people in my group are fed up with it always being about me.
Just after toast and peanut butter - well worth the 4 syns in my eyes!!0 -
Morning all, I too have been feeling uggh the last few days. Feel really tired and had a headache most of yesterday. Went to bed early but couldn't get to sleep until after midnight, and then was up and down to the loo several times. I've stopped having coffee in the morning as I thought that might be stopping me from sleeping so that could be the reason for the headache. Anyway I deliberately slept in this morning to try and rest up. I've just had breakfast and feel slightly better, perhaps I had low blood sugar too.

I have steam cleaned my kitchen and bathroom, hung the washing out,
Going to c lean the windows next and then I think I am going out for the afternoon. Not sure yet where depends on the weather.
Wow!!! That's a whole load of BM!!
Thinking of you while you keep yourself busy.:)
Good to see you back lush. Hope holiday went well.
It's our wedding anniversary today. DH forgot until a card arrived from a friend yesterday. To be fair, it's the first time ever he's done this, and he's mortified. It's just that he's had a lot on and got preoccupied. Waiting for a wash to finish and then we'll go out somewhere. SW won't be figuring today but back on it tomorrow.;)0 -

Hey everyone, I'm losing the plot. Still have access to cooker but that's only two rings and oven as the other two rings and grill bit the dust last week. Another two weeks before new kitchen is complete so meals are shall we say....interesting:rotfl:
Not sticking to plan at all, not even writing it down and I managed to miraculously lose 0.5lb last night!!
Clinging on with by the skin of my teeth. Between being really busy at work then home to face the next challenge the workmen leave, I've no time for anything. So away now for a sneaky we catch up with everyone
Hope you're all weel and shrinking, take care x0 -

Thanks maman lol I didn't think of the body magic but yes you are right, yesterday a crying jag but today the headlines are making me angry and when I am angry I need to keep busy or explode.
What is it about the media and a suicide? why the all the sensation, this was a loving husband and a father, his family asked for privacy and they are not being given it, does anyone need to know he had money problems, why add to their pain.
He suffered from depression , which as Latanna says is a horrible, horrible illness, this was a poor man so tormented that he took his own life, do we , or his family need to see in print, just how he did it .
I suppose they justify it because Robin was well known, my Son wasn't but he chose to die quite publicly, but the press knew before I did, I was at my Dads funeral, and they questioned neighbours and went to his local pub for comments, did they not consider his children?.
And then theres a funeral, despite asking for family and friends only, it seemed that the whole Town turned up, had to endure all the trite and false claims that he was like a brother, is this why he died so lonely?
And then theres an inquest where you have to stand and swear by almighty God, if you are a believer, or affirm that you will tell truth , the whole truth and nothing but the truth, makes you feel like a criminal. Where was the crime? They don't do this to familys who lose someone from cancer do they? Depression is just as much an illness as this.
So sorry loves for the rant, but feel the people on here are the only ones I can really talk too.
Off to attack the garden .and I do mean attack, and bless if I don't lose my last 2lb next week I will spit feathers.Slimming World at target0 -
I so agree with you Meg. It is just sensationalism and just not needed.
Things haven't gone to plan so far today!
The falafel mix was too soft to be able to cook so it's still in the fridge firming up - will cook it later! Have made the bite sized SW chocolate brownies (3 for 0.5 syns! - so negligable for taster at group tomorrow morning). Have to say they taste pretty good to me - just eaten the crumbs!
Lunch ended up as a ham salad with pickles! Have taken off 100ml of SS milk from the syns as don't think I'm going to need it as only just finished the HEA milk. Doubt I'll even use another 100 mls but have synned it anyway.
Not holding out much hope for tomorrow's WI as think it could well be quite a big gain (if my scales are anything to go by!).
