Back from holiday and well and truly fallen from the beaten path however must not despair. I need to kick my butt in to gear; still can't afford to return to a group and really that's the only difference at the moment so just going to have to give it a really good go alone then reconsider returning to group once I'm back at work
The day after we returned from holiday we went across to the east coast of Yorkshire to look at some holiday sites as we had decided to possibly look at going in together (us and bf's parents) on a caravan of our own ... well long story short we ended up buying one which has both good and bad points for us.
The main naughties on holiday were: 2 sharer sundaes, two portions of chip shop chips, 2 mr whippy ice creams and a big portion of mil's cabbage mash (potatoes, cabbage, butter and cheese) oh and wine. I'm not really a big drinker but mil constantly pours me onethough I often left more than half of them.
moving back towards plan now; can't jump in with both feet due to a couple of personal circumstances but I am easing back in to it. I have fresh fruit for snacking and positive meal choices but no HeB until I shop at the end of the week though I am limiting the bread etc
can anyone tell me the syns in mini oatcakes (plain)?
I will try and catch up with the thread over the next few days************************************

Morning all and thank you for kind words, they mean a lot.
I was up early and decided to keep busy today to shake of this low feeling. My friend has to go into hospital today it seems the cancer has spread and she may need a blood transfusion. So an anxious wait for news later.
I have steam cleaned my kitchen and bathroom, hung the washing out,
Going to c lean the windows next and then I think I am going out for the afternoon. Not sure yet where depends on the weather.Slimming World at target0 -

Had some fabulous losses - well done!!
Lovely day out today. Bright but cool (well it is at 6am anyway!). Menu for today:
B - Fruit and FF yoghurt
L - Left over tagliatelle with tomato sauce. Salad that I might add some chicken to.
D - SW fish and chips with oven roasted tomatoes, peas and sweetcorn.
Snack - Muller yoghurt and more fruit.
Drinks - Tea, coffee, water.
HEX A - Milk in drinks
HEX B - Slice of bread with dinner or Hi-Fi bar.
Can anyone tell me how they would calculate salad as free food? I am trying to keep an eye on my five a day and don't know how many an average salad would be. Mine consist of salad leaves, cucumber, raw onion, radish, red pepper & tomato.
This may help calculate your salad.

They're all free foods so you can eat as much as you need to feel satisfied.
Well after being talked into a chippie dinner last night by DH (I had chicken not fish - definitely should have had fish as at least I would have taken the batter off!) Not sure of syns but I've guessed at 25:eek: as I didn't eat all the chips!
Having had that last night that means last night's dinner has to be eaten tonight instead! Definitely need to be on plan completely today! Need to tot up my syns for the week so see how far over I've gone.
B - Fruit 'n' fibre, milk (HEA); banana
L - HM falafel & salad with FF dressing
D - gammon, egg, chips, mushrooms & beans
Syns - 200 mls SS milk 5 (for tea)

This may help calculate your salad.

Thanks, looks like my salad is effectively one (or maybe two at a push) portion of veg. In order to achieve 7/7/7 I need to eat more fruit and veg then.0 -

Many congratulations Skinkski and Annie on your brilliant losses :T
Lioness, I thought that the vague rule was one fist size is one portion of fruit or veg. I think you've probably got some better answers than that already though!
Full of enthusiasm again! This weeks plan - I'm now 1lb above a stone barrier, so want to lose 2lb to get under it.
I really want to start getting off my backside as well. There's plenty of opportunity for a bit of a jig about while doing some housework or something, anything, that will raise my heart rate a bit. Strangely my dodgy knees seem to have been playing up a bit in the last couple of days which makes little sense since I'm lighter and they've been fine for ages. I was going to start doing some BM up and down the stairs but that might not be wise if my knees are likely to buckle on the way!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls
